Well, as most of you know, Mmorpg stands for Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game and I bet all of you that are viewing this thread currently have played it before. It is okay to admit it, because I have played it before too, but decided to stop because I realized that I was spending way too much time on them. On normal days, I would play for a few hours, and by the time I exited the game, it is usually already around 11 or 12 o'clock and I would not have enough time to finish my homework. Therefore, I had to rush through pages and scribble answers withouth even thinking if they were right or wrong. To make a long story short, intense hours of playing Mmorpg had dropped my GPA from a 4.0 to a 3.4. Because I love surfing the internet so much, instead of spending time playing games, I have decided to pcik up other internet hobbies such as writing online blogs or reading online articles. now, instead of asking my brain whether to attack the monster or run, I am challenging myself and always getting new knowledge. I take this time to express to you gamers that maybe you can also take this time and start working hard in school so that you will be able to enjoy your life in the future. Or else you can ejoy it now and, maybe, regret it in the future. Please think about this like what I have done a few years ago. Now, after all the hard work I had to suffer on quitting these massive multiplayer online games, I finally got into a good college and is very satisfied with it. I am very happy that I had made the decision, or else I would have probably been sitting on a bench thinking about what I have done wrong now instead. Please note that I wrote this not to flame anyone, but just to share my personal experience with everyone. Also, please do not insult, as maybe there ARE hardcore gamers out there in the world that are actually also very smart and performs very well in school. This is just my pure experience, and I wish everyone to just take a look at it and think about it.

i have use to play MMORPGs a lot when i was younger. i had spent nearly 3 hours a day devoted to playing them, but my grades had only marginally be lowered. i was able to balance both my gaming and school work well. some say "its not aobut how long you work, but how smart you work" i believe that MMORPGs are not a bad thing, but it is the people playing excessively that are CHOOSING a bad thing. think of games, such as these, as "rewards" for your behavior at school, but dont let yourself reward yourself too much. do not ever forget to keep your priorities straight and dont lose sight of your future goals. a bit of fun now doesnt out weight the troubles you will have in the future

Yea, I forgot to add that what you said was right: Priority matters a lot. I guess I am just not that smart. lol. I can't manage to do two things at once.
