What about if God doesn't exist?

I too was born into a Christian home, but have since viewed the teaching with a more Eastern philosophy. It is said that God is everything inluding all (omnipresent, omniscience, omnipotent). So I can see everything and am aware that everything is around me. So this everything is what most religions choose to term God. If I deny that there is a universe, then I would be crazy wouldn't I? - Derek

You should read the entire book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible. it's sort of a negative type look at the world, and how everything on Earth is meaningless apart from God, and that trying to figure or even fathom how the universe works is a waste of time because no matter how wise you are we cannot figure it out. It also talks about how it's impossible to prove the existence AND non existence of God. And I can't help but agree. I am a firm believer though, and though I can't prove the existence of God with facts, I feel in my heart and I have Faith that God is VERY real and loves us all, and also deals with everyone in their own way. So don't worry about wondering if he exists or not, you obviously feel it in your soul that he is there and loving you or you wouldn't have such questions come up in your head. Just pray to God and ask him for guidance and I assure you that your years are not wasted. Ecclesiastes again talks about mans lot in life is to eat and drink and be happy and to just LIVE your life! Because nothing new is under the sun so don't bother fretting over it, and just love loud! hope this helps, seriously, Ecclesiastes is a quick read and you won't regret it!

In my opinion God doesn't exist, nothing wrong can happen, you can't never see him. Simply relax.
