Painful Experience

2 days ago, I received an email from AC that my article was declined due to the fact that it appeared without byline at another website. Even though my article was a non-exclusive, display only content, AC required that exact byline must be used. That website as pointed out by AC appeared to be plagerising 500+ articles from Dating and Relationship topics in AC, practically real time download, with no recognition of authorship and source. I was very upset and posted in the AC forum. To think that my article was plagerised and AC punished me for it. Many AC writers were shocked to find that their articles were one of the 500+ at the site. Finally one AC writer, Nina Rotz, took action to shut down the stupid site. Hopefully AC can restore my article soon. Me, a month old writer, has undergone "fire baptism". Fortunately the writing community comes to the rescue. Guess this is my lucky day! Hopefully AC restores my article soon. Then all of us can live happily forever and ever.

I don't really like AC that much. It is not one of the best sites to publish on in my opinion. I like textbroker alot better. I think some people have had good luck on Triond and Constant Content as well. They are better sites to publish on. Good Luck with the other sites. I'm glad you were able to resolve your problems on AC.

AC is not friendly to international writer. My main focus is on Helium, because Helium pays upfront and does not require exclusive rights. So AC becomes my platform to earn "extra" income from the same article I submitted to Helium. Without upfront payment, it is really hard to earn. After a month at AC, with 20+ articles, I'm still 40 cents away from minimum payout of $1.50. That $1.50 will be my first payment. Fortunately writing is a hobby that provides passive income. The income is hardly enough for survival.

You can put them on Constant Content, too, as long as you sell them with 'usage' rights only. I've picked up an extra $20 or so from re-selling existing content there. Costs nothing, so it's all extra freebies!!

I heard Constant Content is very strict with grammar and sentence structure. I'm very weak in these 2 areas. Even as display only content, AC asked me to edit a few articles already. I have a friend who is able to help me. Too bad she's very busy, working 12 to 14 hours a day. A rejected article per week is about to kill her. Helium has not rejected anything yet, the topic Stewards help to correct some of the bad grammar. My strength is in the style of writing, I speak to the person as a friend. I intend to focus on my strength and rely on my friend to check the grammar.
