Friday the 13th. Do you believe it's an unlucky day?

Luck is a state of mind. If you believe something bad will happen...it does.Friday 13th has always been lucky for me,I have many other days that have not been as good.

Hello AltheGreat2430, I am borned on the friday 13th and yes, I do believe in bad lucks a friday 13th. When I was young about 13 years old, I had my birthday on a friday 13th. For three days I had bad lucks. I have lucky though not had any more friday´s 13th birthdays with bad lucks, but I do think about the day and mostly stay at home. I am a bit supersticious.

I think it is only a bad day if you believe it is going to be bad! This year, Fri. the 13th turned out to be a great day for me! I went to the store with my sister and had to put some items back because I didn't have enough money but when I pushed my cart towards the bakery, I saw what looked like a dollar bill on the floor and an old lady was stepping all over it as she was getting her donuts, as I wheeled my cart to the donut section, I could see it was a $20 dollar bill! By now the old woman was standing on it! Finally she left and I was getting real close to the money when a man walked up and was looking at the donuts, he too was stepping all over the bill and kicking it around as he made his selection, I just stood there pretending to look at the donuts. Finally he left and I snatched up the bill as fast as lightening and sure enough it was a $20! Nobody even noticed it there, I guess people just don't look down any more! Well it turned out to be a very good day for me as I was now able to get those items I had to put back!

I don't believe it, but somehow today I was working on a website, and no matter what I did, I couldn't find the solution to TWO different script's problems. I ended up wasting an hour and half, and got nothing done on the project. =\ I'll try tomorrow.

I don't believe such things , well i too faced some problems but well i don't remember the days but well i just don't believe that all. well i only think its a bad day for me that my work did not be completed on what i had to do and leave it.

I'm thinking if you're brave enough you should get out and buy a lotto ticket. I mean come on, nobody can have so much bad luck. There has to be something good coming out of all that. I personally don't believe in Fri the 13th but my neighbors today left their food on the stove while going somewhere and the fire department came and busted their door and all. So I guess they had a bad one today.

Hey i guess you just had a hard day, and i guess it's not because of today's date. I am not superstitious and i didn't really cared about today's date untill i saw your discussion and looking at the calendar i saw we had a friday 13th last month also. People say that friday the 13th is not a good day and they consider it as a day with bad luck but when i looked back what happened today everything was the way it was supposed to be for me.

I don't believe such thing it could be just a mere coincidence and sometimes the more we think of it we draw ourselves into danger. I believe in God the most high and I know the he is ever powerful and He keeps me safe and guides me on on way. The more you believe in such thing the more you experience certain situations that would make you believe in it. this happens to us from time to time but we don't think of it much since it is not a Friday the 13th. I do not think friday the 13th is unlucky.i think that we can get in our heads that things are going to go wrong than they usually do.

I can't believe what happened to you for five times on the same date of Friday the 13th! But for me I don't really believe that there is bad thing that happens every time that day comes. Maybe it is just coincidence but in case I am in your shoes I may feel the same: that I am not lucky whenever Friday the 13th comes. Anyway I hope that you will not have any bad experiences again and be careful every time there is Friday the 13th. I don't know why a lot of people thinks that there will always be something bad to happen but it only depends on our thinking. Try to think positive before leaving the house and never carry bad thoughts. I got my lastpay from my previous company this March 13 which is Friday. I never thought I will still get it after long wait of one year, two months, one week and two days. I was lucky yesterday because of that and I even never believed it at first. But just keep on praying and do your part if you want something. That is the secret to avoid experiencing bad things. Anyway I hope again you will never have bad experiences again.

Friday in the 13th is not a bad luck day in my home country and maybe because I have never encountered any bad things on 13th on friday so it doens't bother me.

Ack, so it is again! And, I'm sick! I think I have strep throat. Great. Oh well. This happened last month on Friday the 13 too. Yes, it is unlucky. At least for me. I think that everybody has their own unlucky days. We just don't always realize it. For me, the 14th (if it follows a Friday the 13th) is usually a very lucky day for some reason. For my children's father Friday the 13th was always very luck for him, but he was always lucky on the 7th of the month. Another very unlucky day for me is my Birthday. I don't know why. Seems like something always happens to make the day go wrong. I don't mind getting older... but I hate when bad stuff happens on a day I should be allowed to enjoy!

Well, for me, that day is just a normal day. I mean, when things go wrong, I don't blame the friday the 13th because it is just a day, it doesn't do any damage, I mean, not all of us are granted with too much luck. There are times we experience unlucky things. So, I think it is just a normal day for me. ^_^

Many believed that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. But I myself I cant believe it because I never had experienced and maybe out of the experienced you had is just a coincidence and it had happened only on that day. There were people also believe that its a Will from God to happened in their lives and whether they believe it or not. Its up to them,accordingly.

Nope not really I just think its another day thats seems to have been happening a lot latley. Wasnt last month friday the 13th also. And I think for the next month or two theres going to be a friday the 13th. I dont beleave that this day can bring bad luck. I know I have never had bad luck on friday the 13th.

It depends. People who are superstitous will believe in Friday the 13th and all those years of bad luck. Honestly, I don't believe in Friday the 13th, its just another day that just falls on a Friday. All those things that happened to you could of happened on any day.

just an hour is left on this so called unlucky day but i feel this was just like any other day. things just happened as they happen on an average day. nothing really bad and nothig really very good happened. you had some unfortunate experiences, but i you give it a thought, such things happen very frequently on other days too. well, they happened all togther with you on this day. could it be a mere coincicence...?
