YUK! Today I have to spend most of the day cleaning

Hi moneymommy..Well lets put it this way..I should be doing lots of work today! But am I???...Not yet! Its much more important that I play on the computer..isnt it? Well, I did do a load of laundry and I think I will do another. I did clean the kitchen between mylot and pickjack. I did make my bed as soon as I got up. And I did go for groceries!.. OK, so maybe I should do a few more things! Its a nice sunny but cold day. If I dont get the work done during the day when its sunny, it wont get done today!..I guess I am a mood worker. I have to be in the mood to do it! Really, I do enjoy housework as I like things fresh and clean. The only thing I truely hate, is cleaning ovens and stoves.

Well, I had a weekend away last weekend with my friends, so nothing got done. My whole family has been sick, so they have been laying around the house, and nothing has been done. This weekend I have to vacuum, sweep, wash floors, clean out the fridge, clean 2 bathrooms, do about 9 loads of laundry, including sheets from 3 beds (so strip and make 3 beds), plus all the grocery shopping. I feel your pain!!!

Sometimes I don't mind cleaning but other days I dread it. I still need to empty the dishwasher so I can reload it. I'm working on my second load of laundry and haven't even made the beds yet.

I like clean but I wan magic so that I wave my hand and it's clean. I don't like cleaning, except other people's homes, that isn't so bad because you don't have to see it get dirty as soon as you're through.

hello moneymommy it sure sounds like that you have been very busy today cleaning. and i do not mind cleaning up the house, about the only chore that i cannot stand doing is cleaning out the bathtub, it hurts my back so bad to have to bend over like that to get the bathtub cleaned out. lol it is the far side of the bathtub in which that i have trouble in reaching and the far wall of the shower. i do not like getting into the bathtub to have to clean on it. eww. lol but i have done that before thou to keep my back from hurting. lol otherwise, right now, i am having to deal with having no clothes dryer at home. so here soon, probably to the tune of Sunday, i will have to wash all of the dirty laundry that i can find in the house, then late that afternoon, when that i get all of the laundry washed, i will load it all up in the car and head for the laundry matt to get all of them dry at one time. knock on wood, at least i have a washer that works at home. get some rest this evening. take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

I always have a lot of cleaning to do on Fridays. I try to get it all caught up on Fridays so I don't have to fool with it over the weekend. That doesn't always work but I have good intentions!

I don't really enjoy cleaning, although I don't mind it, either. It is very easy to put it off in favour of doing other things, though. I've been slacking quite a bit lately and it's starting to show, so I'm going to have to put some effort into it soon. Unfortunately, I work weekends, so it'll be a couple more days.

I clean when I am feeling well and I don't often feel well that is the problem. I am always sick but I should start feeling better because the summer is coming in soon and that is good.

I dont do everything oneday.I divide the work and clean one by one each day.I dont like to work on cleaning whole day.I like to them for an hour or more.It keeps your home clean and tidy so better cleaning everyday part by part

INTERESTING DISCUSSION ~ LOL! your discussion really a reminder for me to remember my routine and daily cleaning jobs in my house. OK mine is to clean up microwave, bread toaster, both TV set, washing machine, scanner and router. Weekly are all fans(ceiling and portable) and toilet floor & walls. I enjoy doing both parts of my "duty" as I already get used to it.

i do some every day don't like for it to plile up. never would get caught up if i got behind like that.

I dont have alot to clean, but I do really need to do the dishes... and switch over the laundry....funny thing is I keep saying ok one more post and then I will.... that was an hour ago....LMAO!!! I was sick last weekend and spent wed and thurs really cleaning things up good around the house...so all I have now is the small things... thank god!!! LOL I hate cleaning...I really do, but in my case I have a small house so I can get alot clean quickly....LOL

I know what you mean it can sure pile up when you let it go for a few days. i try to keep up with it.. I have started my spring cleaning, So i have been trying to get all the windows inside and out done this week, then i will start on something else.

I hate to let the cleaning, especially the laundry get behind. It is so hard for me to get back on track. I dont mind cleaning, I have gotten pretty used to it being a stay at home mom with 4 kids and a hubby. I usually clean everyday. Sometimes I am more up for it than others but I usually do most of it. Some days I get up and HATE cleaning.
