'Kite Runner is a pretty good fast read I think. It Takes place in Afghanistan before the Taliban took over. It is a story about a young boy and his friend who's father is a family servant. It revolves around a sport of kite chasing. It follows one boy's escape from Afghanistan to the United States and his going back to rescue his friend's son. It is very emotional and covers some unhappy moments in both boys lives. I hope I didn't give to much away. I will be reading it again soon.

That is a very good synopsis, deebomb.
I liked this book very much. It is quite well written. It has a disturbing scene in it, but I think the author handled it well.
