Lord help the sister!

My sisters husband was taken into hospital monday with appendicitis, hes fine now. But on tuesday, I saw a friend of mine and she mentioned she had seen him recently, I told her he was in hospital. Today, I get a right royal rollockin from my sister for telling my friend he had appendicitis, that is literally all I told her! Do you have a sister? Is she a pain up the azz? Did I do anything wrong?

You did not do anything wrong. I can't imagine why your sister is so upset about you telling anyone. Unless she has told you specifically not to say anything to anyone, then tell away. That's my feeling and I'm sticking with it...lol. Oh, I hope you get a little satisfaction from her unreasonable behavior that you've just told upwards of 164,000 people...at least that's was the MyLot membership number is.

I'm still laughin about the fact that I got a bollocking for tellin one person and I just told 164,000!!! You can keep a secret right?

you didn't do anything wrong ,but every person has its different poiunt of view to see a situation ,so just chill and take it so seriously ,she might be tense so ,she said this to you,dont worry be happy.

You are not wrong for doing that. If she didn't want you to tell anybody that he was in the hospital and why he was there, she should have said something. I would ask her what was so wrong about telling your friend that he is in the hospital since your friend brought him up. I mean, I doubt you're going around telling everybody you come across that he is in the hospital (Although that is a bit comical in my head, if you add in random strangers who do not even know him). Just tell your sister that she needs to "cool her jets" because you did nothing wrong.
