My ex-mother-inlaw is coming to spend the night with us. She will be here tomorrow. My daughter is very excited that her grandma is coming. She is a very nice lady. This will be the first time she has spent the night with us. She didn't even spend the night when her son and I was together. I hope this weekend be nice. Would you invite your ex-laws to spend the night?

I am a grandmother of children who live with a divorced parents, well, they did when they were younger. I feel both my daughter in law and my husband and I worked to keep the kids in the 'family'. We were concerned about mama's health and well being as much as we were about the kids. At first our son did not realize what we were doing, he thought for awhile that we were taking sides. But he finally came to understand. Now those grandchildren are young adults, and they still are an important part of our lives, and they keep us in their lives also. It is a blessing to not be seperated from them. I am glad you are keeping up the contact for your child.
