I found a number of videos of Vice Vukov performing his greatest songs on Youtube. When I asked one of the users if they knew where I could find more oof his music, I received this! http://yuforum.net/zabavna-muzika/vice-vukov-10585/ A whole album on line. I love it!!! It was one of the ones offered at the Croatian music store, but instead I opted for the larger CD set with more songs on it, and more recent recordings (I got more for my money with that one). I'm really excited about this little "bonus fine." It's wonderful what you can find on line!!!! Anyone found anything interesting on line lately?

I don't know anything about Croatian music, but what surprised me with your link was the fact that I can understand a lot...I guess I can understand all West Slavic languages...

I don't understand a bit of the language, i just like the way it sounds. Cool that you can understand it, though. What is he singing about?

Wow! I'm surprised you discovered Vice Vukov. "Vice" is pronounced as Vee-tse, with ts resembling the sound 'tsunami'. Please don't pronounce it as Vice! He was a phenomonal artist, he had a rich baritone voice and was one of the most celebrated singers in the 60's and 70's. "Cale Moj" is my favorite song; it is still being sung in newer versions and often aired on CMC (Croatian Music Channel). To my knowledge he also has one album in Italian called "Bella Italia" where he sings classics like "O Sole Mio" and "Arrivederci Roma". If you would like to listen to some Croatian songs try tuning in CMC music channel. You may even catch Vice Vukov, if you're lucky:) Here's their URL: http://www.cmc.com.hr/
