Using Traffic Exchanges with Google Adsense

Hey guys, I was just wondering if any of you had any experience in working with traffic exchanges to drive traffic to your website with Google Adsense ads placed on it?? I've heard before that people have been banned as a result but only when they get close to cashout... Any input is appreciated. If any of you aren't sure what a traffic exchange is I have a whole page dedicated to it on my blog! Thanks!
