The Bible said that diseases is some kind of a way of God to get our attention, and yes it is. When we're in good health we thought that we can grasp the world into our hand, we stand tall and like a tiger always alarm to fight whenever there is a chance. When our Physician tell us or told us that we have some kind of disease suddenly our wold stop. We look up to the sky as ask "why me?" I've done nothing wrong. Now what we gonna do is to be strong and face our disease. Yes this is right! But how about if we stand strong and face our self and face our God. Sometimes thinking about your disease can make you more weak, because doctor embedded this diseases in our mind, and so we believed in it, and so our mind. Then every time we think of it, it began to metastasize, it began to grow, because our mind listen and our mind working on what it feeds upon. What if we told our self that our attention is being called by someone whom we neglected for quite sometime, and by facing him again will take the pain away. And making things in balance we live better and better each and every day. Not to neglect the most important thing for your life, the one who give you strength, the one who cries when you're hurt, the one who cheer you up when you're sad, who always there when there's no one there for you. But the saddest thing is you're too busy to know that he's there. Making this things add up in our everyday routine will surely give us worry free and everything will flow on harmoniously in our life and that the way we live our life to the fullest after being diagnosed to whatever disease(s) it may be. New and wonderful peaceful life.

Good for you. All any of us gets is this instant, NOW, if we can concentrate on that we will get so much more out of life. Let light and joy enter your life visualize white healing light coming into each cell of your body. Visualization is a great source of of energy for healing. Blessings

Sorry to read you are sick. I wish you all the best and lots of happiness and strength. As for me, my back is worn out. I cannot work anymore and when I want to do to much, my body won't let me either. Sometimes it is very frustrating, seeing as I have always been very strong. I guess I am still a lucky person, seeing as it is only my back. Take care.

Yes you are right, we should be thankful. My first back operation was also 11 years ago. At that time I had take a lot of Ibuprofen as well. I found that my stomach was acting up. I could not eat the things I use to eat. So, this time I skipped the pain killers. Okay, I get grumpy. But then I just keep to myself and try not to bother anyone. I was doing great after the operation. I worked real good for 10 years. Then my legs started on me again. And for almost a year I could not walk for very long. I could not stand long in one place, it was terrible. But like you said, living in the early years, we would be sitting in a wheel chair a long time ago. In my case they told me it was depression. Stress. I don't know anyone who does not have stress, hahaha! Anyway I was treated for depression and got depressed. After gaining 20 kilo's I stopped the medicine. Still having bad pains and not wanting to get out of bed made it worse. I went to get a check up. My blood does not make enough white blood cells. I don't have enough iron. They gave me iron tablets, and within a month I was feeling a lot better. I could concentrate better, I remember things. I don't sleep the whole day, I actually try to do something. Anyway, my pains are still here, and I think I would like an other operation. If I were still in Holland, I would have had one by know. But, in Berlin they don't know my situation, so I had to start over again. Hopefully the doctors will finally help me more. My neck is hurting the most lately. We got a kitten, and he is terrible sometimes, but I love him anyway. hahaha! Animals help you feel good. I guess grand children do too, I have not got any yet. Take care, have a nice evening.

What I did was spend my days doing everything I was capable of doing. I would go for walks and if I got tired I would sit down. I would read a good book outside in the shade, so what if the sun was bad for me, the shade was still good. I still went out with friends and did things, i just had to learn my limits after being diagnosed with cancer.

right there, make it a point to make the best out of everything even the simplest of all. appreciate what everyday can bring you. embrace the fact that life is worth it. even diagnose with an ailment, you shouldn't feel that the world had been unfair or cruel for you, everything happens for a reason and for whatever reason he had put into that situation, still be hopeful. wish you the best of luck.
