hi we all been using it. it is the most easiest,convinient way to carry data.they come in different sizes and colours.and in recent times they are among the popular items in the market too. but, why we call it a pen drive why not a pencil drive or anything else.

pen drive is a glory of modern times,it have many benefits,but I am very prefer another drive:sin drive ,it is more easier and faster than pen,,and it capacity isn't smaller than pen drive, it's memory deivce is very big,it's function is the same as pen drive!

hi! sunil_008 we call it pen drive and not pencil drive..because it's essence it's not like of pencil but of all kind of pens..can you get my point? hehehe...my flash drive today is some kind of pen drive brand and i love using it..i bought just a year ago with five years warranty..

we call it pen drive because it is easy to carry like a pen.
there are some other names also
like flash drive
usb key
and many more.
