Problem in ncashing Paypal Balance in Bank

I tried to encash 10.6$ I received from a friend in my paypal account in my Indian Bank Savings Account. I asked for the IFSC number from the Banks Customer Care,then entered the name with care before submitting for a transfer of the money. One week later it is shown in my paypal account that a reverse transaction has been made for the transfer,and more than 5$.Can anyone of you tell me,what was wrong in the process? Can someone tell me,how to know what went wrong so that they couldn't transfer the money from Paypal to my Savings Account? Paypal customer care requires them to call them,which is not possible right now since it would be an intrnational call.
