Do you always buy from the same pizzeria?

There have been a couple of new pizzerias that opened closeby. So they have grand opening coupons and I thought it would be great to give it a try. So we tried their special but the pizza just wasn't the same as the place we usually get pizza from. Is it worth it to try something different when they have a special? Or is it better to just stick with what you know will be good food... Please share your stories...

Well, we occasionally try out pizzas from other stores. Stores where we usually don't go to. Based from experience, I'd say 50% of the pizzas that we've tasted from other stores are above average. But most of the time I normally go to the same pizza store that I usually go to.

Hi! The last couple of stores we tried just don't measure up to our usual haunt. We were actually going to this one place for a couple of years and suddenly they closed. We scrambled for other comparable pizzas and finally agreed on one closeby. I guess it's something you just get used to - a certain recipe or something... Thanks for the response.

Hi mizstress! We sometimes try new places when they have specials and it's not always good but you're right - it is fun to try! Thanks for your response.

No, I like to spread the love around. I like the same toppings: Pepperoni, black olive, extra cheese, and light on the sauce.

I guess we all have our favourites. But if I have a coupon for a special, I will try a new place. WHo knows, it might even be better!...If I dont like it the first time, chances are, i wont buy from there again. Then again, they might also have something that my favourite place doesnt have.

We sure do have our favorites...But I too thought it would be interesting to try a new place. And you're right - we didn't know until we tried if it was going to be better than the usual haunt. But it wasn't so we won't buy there again. Thanks for the response.

My personal feeling on this is. How would you know if you don't try. Sticking with what you know is good, because you know what to expect. The other guy could be better, or worse, or the same but different. How would you know? What I always have done, is tried every pizza place there was. Then of those, stuck with the one I liked most. And when I new one opens, I go there, and try it. Same with all other kinds of food as well. I think of it as a learning experience.

It certainly is a learning experience and you're absolutely right - how would you know? Now we know that the pizza is ok but not quite as good as the place we normally buy from. Thanks for the response!

I live in a college town which means we have TONS of pizza places. From what I've found though most of them really aren't all that great. We use to be daring and try different places but after a few disappointments we decided against it. Now my fiancee and I stick with chain pizza restaurants that we know are good. Our two favorites are Little Caesars and Pizza Hut.

I used to love the Little Caesars commercials but have never eaten in one! There just weren't any where we live... I guess there comes a point when you have to stop trying because you're just not enjoying your food anymore. Thanks for the response.
