It starts out bearable. Then it gets a little worse then it reaches the unbearable point. It is a migraine. this is the point that I just call it quiets. I go to my bedroom, turn off the lights and cover my head with a blanket.I am down till the migraine goes away.what do you do when you get a migraine?

I feel so sorry for you. I also wish there was a shot for migranes.I have a sister inlaw that get them every so often she gets them so bad that she passes out. When she gets one she had to call her mother inlaw over so she can watch her kids. She takes a pill and goes to bed and sleeps. I think the pill makes her sleep and helps with the pain. Good luck.

when migraine hits i go to a dark, quiet place and i make sure the place doesn't have any air freshener. i take a pill specially for colds but has paracetamol and a component that makes me sleepy. if i get enough rest the headaches disappear. otherwise, it's see you tomorrow. :)

I have these terrible headache, no doctor have told me they were migraine, but I do take excedrin migraine tablets for it and I lay down for awhile, mine mostly occur when I wake up in the mornings. That is the only time I have these headaches.

Hey there. Usually, if I start feeling pain, I'd slow down whatever I'm doing and take a little break. If it starts getting worse, I'd take some paracetamol. When the pain is extreme, I look for some stronger stuff. Excedrin almost always works for me.

For whatever reason, Advil is the only thing that will work for me. Usually, I'll end up under the blanket in my bedroom, but depending on the migraine I might end up in the bathroom with the lights off and the door closed. It's always quiet in there, and it doesn't have any windows, so it's sometimes the best place to be.

When I get Migraines I tend to slow what I am doing (not on purpose) and rub my temples a bit, then take a Tylenol and grab something to eat. If I am at home I get my freakin' roommate to turn down/off the music or just pull the fuse box.
