We are here almost every day, what if some day that you find there is no discussion which catches your attention? Would you leave mylot for that day? Or would you start some discussions your own? Or would you click on friends and respond to their old discussions?

Often I'll go through friends discussions and catch ones I missed or go through the no responses section. Failing that I'll go away and come back later. Hopefully this new tasks section will give us something else to do when good discussions are a bit thin on the ground.

I would do whatever I have to do to find something interesting to talk about on this site for that day, I find it better just starting your own discussions that way others will have something to talk about and you will have something to talk about with them.

Yea, actually you could get quite busy in rating and commenting on responses on your own discussions!

Well, I will just sign off, take a break from myLot and do some other work. So by the time I log in again, I'm sure there will be some new discussions to look into.

hello wondericequeen i really do not have that problem at all in finding interesting Mylot discussions. i enjoy reading and responding to as many of my friend's discussions that i can possibly post in my spare time. and plus, as things happen in my world, i will start a few new Mylot discussions of my own. also, sometimes i will go check out the Mylot discussions that do not have any responses to them yet, and i will also sometimes check out the Mylot discussions that new members around here have started. so i do try to still as busy as i can when that i am logged onto Mylot's website. right now, i have a bunch of unresolved Mylot discussions that i need to take the time to read, and also mark them with the best responses. so i do have alot to do around here at Mylot. take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

hi wondericequeen, I had experienced and still experiencing thing thing sometimes.Usually,I will sign in to mylot. Then, I will check my started discussions and later give comments to those who respond. After that, I will start to look for discussions to participate to. Sometimes, when I had not chosen any single discussion, I just check my friends discussion and answer those ones which I know in myself that I can answer. I do not have the habit of answering discussions which I do not have enough background. If I answer a discussion, I make sure to it that somehow I do contribute something. Then if ever, I cannot answer any discussion my friend had started, I will go to the top discussions. Sometimes, it makes me upset knowing I cannot answer any discussions because of so many reasons. First of all, I cannot relate with the topic and secondly, the started discussion is not that clear to me. When times like this is happening, I think of what discussion to make. I just start my own discussion hoping mylot members and friends can answer. Then, there are also times that I cannot answer any discussion and worse, I do not have any discussion to start..Then, that will be the time that I will leave mylot for a while and take a rest or do some things in the house.

True, there are times that when I have absolutely nothing to do at mylot and I would just log off and come back after a few hours.

See, if you are regular here or to say on any community, you will face this problem. I am new here and I have not faced anything like this. This must be frustrating. If I will have to face something like this then I would go for all stuffs that you have mentioned as viable options.

Yes if you are a regular here, most likely you would have some days thinking that there aren't anything interesting, but that only lasts for a short while.

If I don't have any discussions to respond to, I start my own. If I can't think of any discussion then I just go to new tab and no responses as well.

I was about to make a discussion like this and I was already about to stop responding and roaming around then I stumble into your discussion. I really had no discussions that I think I had something to contribute.

I feel it happens a lot recently. Many people start silly discussions, pushing the real interesting ones pages behind. I've almost given up starting a new discussion, since even before I get 2 or 3 responses, I see my topic pushed to second page. (Well. It's everybody's privilege to start their own discussion, and we have nothing to do) There is another forum I'm member of (which is free), so I'll start a topic there if I really want an opinion. I don't want to start the same here, just for money. So, I look for my friends discussions and respond them.

I feel this way a lot, but I usually just try to grit my teeth and respond any way. Or, I'll break the monotony by starting my own discussion. Other times, I'll search for discussions with certain key-words that I know a lot about, and respond, even if they're old. Interesting question!

Yes I think I will search for the keyword as well, it seems to me that I could respond more discussions that way *smiles*.
