Why do people remember GoD only when they are in trouble?

It is when they are in deep trouble where they can't do nothing and expect nobody to lend helping hands and think only some miracle can help,people remember God.Just they admit their inability to handle the situation and stop worrying,letting the problem to God.Whereas in happy moments,they find friends and relatives to share and forget to thank god as they take it for granted.May be they could have expected more.Cheers!

I agree with the above comment. Most of the time, you feel God's presence when you're at your lowest. Yeah, we should give all the honor and glory to God at all times, however, weirdly enough,it is after getting out of a difficult situation that we feel God's presence the most.

yeah i do this, i don't go to church because it boring and i hate being told what i should be thinking, i don't pray because i don't believe in it, but i do often say things like please god don't let it rain or little silly things like that.

Yes people remember and call the God when they are in trouble. Because they become helpless in trouble and they require help of supreme power of the Universe. They request the God to help them and request for rid out of the trouble. usually we use to call our mom as she is best relative but when we did not get the help of our mother father or such close relatives we ultimately call like o my God. This is only and last option for the people trouble and they ask him for help. We pay thanks in happy hours of our life. thank you God, thanks God or thanks heaven in happy mood of happy moment and we call o my God in sad mood or in troubling moments of our life. this all is natural and nature could not change.

Because when there's no trouble they only think of the joy they have and when they think of GOD they tend to put him aside beacause they always think that GOD is just there for them and in times of trouble they know that GOD will help them.. Sometimes because of too much enjoyment we learn to forget GOD who is the way, the truth and the life... We can just learn to call him when anything turns out bad coz we know he helps us..

Not everyone does. I always try and thank God for the good stuff that comes along in life too.
But I guess for the most part it's just human nature.
God is a parent, and as children we don't need our parents as much when everything is going great. Sometimes we might even forget to acknowledge them.
It doesn't mean that we don't love them or anything remotely like that.
It's just simply human nature.
There are certain people in life whom you depend on - who you know are going to be there no matter what. God is exactly the same - you always know he'll never leave you, even if sometimes you forget to remember him.
