What would you do for a friend? Is there a limit to it? Does it make a difference if it's a new friend or an older friend? What would you do for a friend......

I would do almost anything for a friend. If they fell on hard times, I would offer them a place to stay, I would take them to an interview, I would help watch their children. The only thing I wouldn't do is pay their bills...or any debt that they have incurred. It does not make a difference if it's an old friend or a new friend. A friend is a friend no matter how long they have been a friend. I'm sure you have heard the brownie saying..."Make new friends, keep the old, one is silver and the other is gold."

hi there charleneRB.. well, for me a friend is someone who can make you laugh, who will be there always in times of trouble, who can be not only your freind or as a sister or a brother to you, a friend who will respect your decisions.. for me, theres is a difference between a new friend from an older friend, simply because for me my older friends, we had lots of secrets have shared, naughty things we've done..lol and we have lots of things we have shared..but with a new friend is different because we really have to adjust with our attitudes and of course i will not that easy to trust that new friend, but i'm a good friend..lol

Ofcourse there is a limit for anything, i personally feel that I can only do to that extent i can really afford to do, and not more then that. I cannot risk myself and still help my friend, in that way i lose myself by helping my friend, it doesnt mean that we must not help, we must help genuine friends but then, as much as you can and your capacity is.
