Remember being little?? Yes i know it was a few years ago!!! But I'm sure you remember some things. How about your favorite childhood memories??? Don't you have even just one? We all have one. Mine would have to be when my mother would tuck me into bed and then ask me what kind of story I would like to hear. And I would always tell her "a story about a princess named carol". lol (that's my name) And SHE WOULD ALWAYS make a new and different story for me every night. She was so good at telling me stories. My mother had so many talents its sad her life ended so short. She passed away when I was 12, but I will always remember her stories. Now tell us of your tales. Big or little as few or as many as you like. I would love to hear them. Lets make this the happy discussion!!! hehehe

hello mssnow Your mother was so good and sweet. I have a good memory of my childhood. All my memories was about my mother and father. I can remember I waited for my parents back from travelling at my grandpa's home when I was 2, I can remember that I heard my father's whistle (he always did it to let me know he was back)and run to the door, I run to them when I saw them. My father never bought flowers and he bought me a bunch of pink roses on my 18th birthday. My mother punished me when I did wrong, I saw her crying when she went back to kitchen, I knew she really loves me so much that she felt hurt as well when she punished me. I remember this scene. My father thought that I was asleep on bed, he went into my bedroom, saw my face and patted/kissed my face before he left home to work. I have so many memories that I would never forget. Some were I was playing with my cousin, the memories were so good and sweet.

One of my favourite childhood experiences was going to work in the evening with my mum! She had two jobs one in the day and one at night she would go cleaning in the offices, it was only a ten minute walk and for going I would get a bag of ranchos crisps which I would look forward to, whilst mum would clean the offices I would go and sit at one of the desks and pretend I was the manager of the company and had all my paperwork in front of me, it was only doodling and doing sums, I always loved maths and making up sums to do. I would feel important and it was like role play to me, just mum and I together we had quality time together, I would then follow her upstairs to the big offices where there was this giant map of the UK that would fascinate me and I would stand there for ages looking at the different places on the map and learning new places. It was always a treat to go with her.

Well twinny I am very lucky as I have so many wonderful experiences to remember - it is really hard just to choose one. I used to go and stay with my sister during holidays which was great, I visited Canada at about 6 or 7 with my Grandma, I was a flowerdirl at several weddings, sitting in front of a coal fire in the middle of winter in my nightclothes with my Grandad putting rags in my hair to make beautiful ringlets for the next da! i think my most favourite memories though are when I used to go for long, long walks with my Grandad in the country - we would easily cver 8 or 9 miles when I was only about 4 and 5 and I loved being alone with my Grandad and being able to talk with just the two of us! xxxx

I really and truly did twinny. As I got older we fought a lot but still loved each other. I would give anything for one more argument with him, its been 10 years since I lost him and I think of him every single day! xxxx

I remember, fondly, of going up into the mountains with my family when I was very young. We lived in Nevada at the time and it was a special treat for us to go explore the mountains. I reallyliked going to on old cabin that we found! We lived 60 miles from Las Vegas, and going there for our birthdays was another treat for us. We would go to Circus, Circus and us kids got to play games and just have a great time. I also remember going to a baseball game. It was the White Sox versus the Red Socks. I remember this game so well because the umpire got kicked out for making bad calls! I think that some of my favorite memories though, come from those times when my big brother and I spent hours just talking to each other. I remember how close we were growing up, and now that we are adults with families of our own, those days are just really nice memories for me. We ar still quite close, but it just isn't the same as t was growing up.

Oh, I have a happy childhood! There were so many interesting things in my childhood. Well, I grew up in a rural village until I was 11 years old. Every night, all the children of our village would gather and play togeter. The favorite game was "police and thief". It was so funny. Generally, I prefered to act as a police. You will be proud of to be a police, since police is on behalf of justice, bravery and all the good thing.

I'm sorry to say that I don't recall that many, but one that does stick out in my mind was mine and my Sister's excitement whenever we were allowed to stay up late because Grandma was flying in for a holiday and we were to greet her! Grandma's aren't just cuddly, nice smelling and loving visitor's; they normally have gifts too! We'd be beside ourselves with anticipation just waiting for our Nanna to walk through that door and we'd also jump out of bed the next morning and run to check that she was indeed still here! I have just the one Grandma alive today and she's in no position to travel, but I'll always remember what I've just shared.

Wow, this is a great topic for discussion. My most memorable childhood experience would have to be my mother tucking me in at night. I used to have horrible nightmares. They were so bad that doctors considered diagnosing me with night terrors. My mom decided to try things her way. One day she came into my room to tuck me in and in her hand was a sparkly water bottle. She told me that she had received it as a gift from the fairies that lived in our garden. Inside was a magic spray that would keep all the bad dreams from entering my room. Being a small child of course I believed her and begged her to please use it every night so the bad dreams would go away. I believed in fairies whole heartedly and I was confident that it would work. That night, I slept the deepest most peaceful sleep imaginable. I still had a few nightmares but not as serious as before. As I got older, I finally asked my mom what was in the bottle. She finally told me that it was scented water and glitter. Sometimes, I still like to believe it was magic. However, it is amazing how something that seems so simple could influence the mind to such a degree as to heal the body itself. I hope you enjoyed the story. Livy J

Jealous ! - I used to hate sportsmen heroes !
Hi, I was a goody-goody boy in my class,school... Liked by some, disliked by many. I was good at studies, not sports. In a co-ed school, sports persons were Heros, alltime. Girls were eager to make friendship with those ace sportsmen.I was jealous! My days were few before/on exam days, where girls used to flock around me for notes/prob ques.I used to cherish!Still fresh in my memoriies..those beautiful faces.. =Lahiri,Kolkata, india.

This is a really touchy subject for me, because most of my childhood was not a happy one, but I do remember a happy time was riding on the dirt bike with my brother across the field to go to my grandmothers house, and I loved my grandmother she would always fix the best Vegetable soup and cornbread, she had food all the time and those fried apple pies were delicious.......yummy

Well, my favourite childhood experience is the relationship with a girl with the same age as me. She is the daughter of my father's colleague Mr. Li. We usually hang out together in our spare time. We went to school together. She is not good at maths, so I help her out of the difficult questions. We really keep good ralationship at that time. This may be called a friendship formed in childhood.

Childhood experiences are replete with happy moments in everyone's existence. The reasons are obvious. You are not the one who attaches quite a lot of worries in your thinking in such unripe age, nothing to care about anything seriously....only at the receiving end in matters of love , care and affection. Great Isn't it?

My favorite childhood experience was when my mom would bring me to her school twice a month.. she would let me stay at the faculty room when she's busy and at the classroom at times.. she would let me sit in her chair and her students would come to me to say hi.. they would even invite me to sit beside them and play with my long black hair.. =) during recess time/break time, her co-teachers would give me treats like chocolates, candies and cakes to name some.. =) it was fun! another memorable childhood experience was when i was invited to do two tv commercials by agents.. one was for shampoo commericial then the other one was for toothpaste commercial.. since i was a shy type of girl then, i turned the offers and my mom was kind of frustrated of me..
