I was just wondering with the days of smart casual wear does anyone actually dress up ,makeup ,new shoes ,stunning dress or blokes best suit ,when was the last time you dressed up in your best bib and tucker. We always used to dress up to see a show now we could wear our jeans and baggy jumper,do you miss those days when everyone would get excited about what they were going to wear and spend ages infront of the mirror.Just wanted to know if you still do or miss those days?

I never did dress up much, I used to wear dresses when I was younger, but nowdays, I'm happier in jeans and a shirt, I have a few skirts but I can't tell you how long its been since I've worn those. Even going to church, nobody dresses up in their Sunday best, everything's so casual these days, yep, I miss those days too.

I like to dress up when I visit my family. I have two sisters who always have some sort of interesting combination of clothing. They always look so good. It's fun to compete. About five years ago, I experienced my favorite dress up time ever. There was a secretary that worked for my husband. I also was working in the office (office manager). She told me one day when he was out of the office that he liked her so much that I would be gone soon. That is when my daughter and I went shopping. We found the perfect "black dress" that fit perfect with a long slit up the side and low-cut neck line, the perfect high heels, and hosiery. The morning of "operation secretary gone" I spent a couple of hours with makeup, hair, and used my husband's favorite perfume. He always went to work around 6:00 a.m. I arrived a little after 8:00 a.m., right after the secretary got there in her stretch pants and tent shirt. I walked down the hall past the secretary's office and into my husband's office. My husband almost fell out of his chair. All the engineers were laughing. No more secretary problems after that. Silly girl - back to work!

Good for you.You handled it well I am proud of you,I would have taken her outside for a chat myself she would not have looked so pretty after I had finished with her.I admire your self control.

What self control! I figured that if a spanking would work, her mama would have been successful and she would not have had the attitude. I know the love my husband has for me, but I guess she did not (at least for a short time). Teee Heee! Thank you for a good question. I just may get that black dress out again just for fun!
