hi friends.as u all know that ICL was formed before IPL and ICL did a very good job of attracting people to watch their matches even with only 5 venues.i can understand BCCI having a tough stand against ICL as they consider them to be a competitor.but sometimes it sounds too childish.
instance 1:
sachin and karthik were about to play a match along with the newzealand club team while the indian team is battling out in the T20 matches against new zealand.but BCCi stopped sachin and karthik saying that an ICL player(past),hamish marshall was in the team and no centrally contracted indian player should play with a member of ICL.so sachin backed out.
instance 2:
Ravi sastri has to return home due to personel issues so the icc sent craig macmillan to take over ravi in the commentary box.but BCCI said if craig macmillan (ex royal bengal tiger, captain, icl) is in the commentary team,we will not allow any indian commentator in the box while he holds the mic.
now this is getting more childish.if the monkey scandal and umpiring decision has spoiled the aussie series, these childish stuffs may spoil this tour though they are not made a big issue now.

Yes, BCCI has been very tough on the ICL and I think all the countries around the world have to stand up against it. The Pakistan players have already won their court case, which allows them to participate in domestic competition.
The players in many other countries are also allowed to play in the domestic league. Only in India is this the case, where the ICL players are not allowed even in the ranji trophy.
Now it is getting to commentators as well. This is just too childish and it is time that the FICA should step in. BCCI is spoiling the name of the country by adopting such a stance.
