Do you think civial servant is a greate job?

Perhaps some people think civial servant is a good job with well-paied,good reputation and so on,Or different people in different countries has differrent options.In my country,civial servant is an enviable job,my parent would like me to be a civial servant but i enter into a foreign company.Many acquaitances persuade me to be a civial servant because they think the job in foreign company is not stable and not suitable for a girl.
what about the situation in you country,is it a good choice to be an civial servant? Does the civial servant be paid hign salary and with good reputation?

Yes, in our country, generally, the civial servant is paid higher salary and is more stable. But I don't think it's a greate job to every one. At least it isn't for me.
I ever see a joke, "Cherish your life, so be far from civial servant please!" To be a civial servant, it means you may never do something you really love. Maybe you will feel you spend your time in vain.
