My husband would always want me to stay home and take care of the little family we have, it's not that I don't want to but working would always give me a good sense of satisfaction as a being. For once I convinced myself on being a plain housewife but it didn't work for long, I felt all the hinges were rusting, my bodies operating systems started to slow down, bugs were all over me and I realized it's just not me. Now I am back to working and kicking as a working mom. Gosh, it gives a lot of satisfaction, you know? I love the feeling of my head squeezing on tight deadlines, thinking about my eldest son going to school or attend his musicale. Then there's a hubby to take care too; lol, not to mention my team who needs constant supervision, guidance, attention and support. At the end of each day, I'd feel so much delighted for the satisfaction it gives me. I know I could sleep soundly having known my outputs for the day. What about you, would you rather do the same thing or choose the other way?

I tried the housewife thing and I couldn't do it. I was driving my crazy. its so much of clean the house you can do plus I'm use to making my own money, and just having a just. I to me even though we might complain I don't want to go to work its somewhat of a paid get away. That is how I see it(&/or try to see it) Give me a chance to miss the kids for a little bit and the hubby. LOL.

I feel like I have the best of both worlds. I am a working mom, but I work at home. This way when my kids were little, I was able to raise them and didn't have to worry about daycare issues. I went threw 7 daycares before I decided to quit my job. Now I make a good living from home. If I were to go back out into the workforce, I would never find a job making the money I do from home to start out. Maybe someday I will change my mind and go out to the real world and get a job. It is great now because I can get my daughter on the bus in the morning and am here for her when she gets off the bus after school.
