UK survey site that's A-okay

One for all you UK survey workers here. I don't doubt many of you have heard of YouGov - but given up waiting for a survey to come through. Don't despair! I had to wait 3 months for my first survey, which was for a poxy prize draw. I did it anyway - mainly, because it was for something worthwhile and only took 10 minutes (a short questionnaire on whether I felt my children were safe outside - the short answer being, NO)
Anyhow, since Jan I've had, roughly, 1 - 2 surveys per month. They only send you stuff for which you DEFINITELY qualify (none of this "20 minutes down the line you've given them all the data - and then you get screened out" scamming) And the pay is reasonable. I just did a 10 minute survey for 50p - around a dollar - and my earnings are now £7.25! I know it doessn't sound a lot, but I reckon I've done, at most, an hour's work for that. I think minimum payout is £10, but I'm saving this towards my holiday!
Bad news - it's UK only I'm afraid, but there's a link for those outside the UK so I'd say, if you want genuine paid surveys then give YouGov a try. Be prepared to wait before you start earning - but it'll be worth it! -

I had completely forgotton about this site.
I signed up almost a year ago and have never had anything off them!
Perhaps they just didn't like me

It might be worth you updating your profile to remind them you exist. They seem to be more active at the moment - or maybe you just have to wait your turn to get shuffled up the list. I'm in Greater London, near Gartwick, which probably helps.

Finally a worthwhile survey site. Those I have joined didn't send me a single survey, even though I made sure that I added their email address to my "Allowed Email Addresses" list. Some of them, like you said sent plenty of surveys--all of which I screened out of.
Anyway, could you please add me and pm me the link for international members? Thanks in advance.

I will, plus a few others I know are genuine like Toluna and Lightspeed. I've got to dash off to the beeb website now (i got a real writing job this morning!) but will PM you later. Thanks for the positive feedback. Like I say, the site is only for UK residents but there's probably something in the 'outside UK' link for you. Otherwise, find some UK friends you can poach - or create a UK persona. The questions, on the whole, are much as you see elsewhere and relate to international companies like IBM and Microsoft. Names you will know about. The idea of the site is to get an idea of the UK populace's tastes - but seeing as we're hosting the 2012 Olympics and are, supposedly, the most Cosmopolitan country on earth ...
I shouldn't have told you that really, but that's what friends are for!

Hi jazzsue I am already with yougov and have just reached the 10 but am not sure when they pay out yet I do know they do as someone on here referred them to me as she does to and has been paid out a load of times...littleowl
