Hello All! Todays, more and more people carry some credit cards and ATM cards more than real money. I prefer to bring money more than cards, it is because almost all the time I use money to buy something. I use the credit card or debit cards only if my money not more than us $10 hohoho. I think it's also because it's not very common to buy with cards in my country, not all the shops accept this kind of transaction. How about you? Do you buy something with cash or by credit card?

hello dik an... Although people mostly use credit cards or debit cards to purchase stuff and services, I still use cash to do all those things. I really don't like to have a credit card cuz I don't want to get in debt when I have to use it nor Do i need extra billings every month just to keep the card active even if I don't use it. plus, you can't use credit cards or debit cards in all stores only mostly at the mall or on internet shopping. But there are few selected stores that accept those cards outside the malls. So I think carrying cash with you is more convenient in so many ways than those plastic cards

We are just in the midst of paying off our credit card so it won't be getting used again unless it is an emergency. I much prefer using my ATM card these days; it is much easier to manage our budget. I seldom carry a great deal of cash since I had my purse stolen last year with our entire pay in cash in it.

If I have a credit card and I'll go a real shopping, I prefer to carry it. By this way am sure no money will be lost as sometime's am forgetful that I misplaced my money or along the way you dont have to worry about those pickpockets or holduppers. For safety credit card is advisable, however it's musch wiser to use money instead in shopping as I understand how the interest goes with the amount used at the credit card. For convenience however, its alright using credit card especially for those who can afford.

I prefer my ATM card it easy and convenient and before any approved transaction my ID or Drivers licence and signature is required. Carrying cash has become dangerous out here in South Africa and Credit cards seeing you splashing out more than required needs and there are times that the card gets swiped without cashiers and assistants asking for proof of ownership of the card.

Both. Most of the time I prefer to pay by cash.I am very careful about the exorbitant interest rates for credit cards her about 36% per annum.

Most of the time i used cash when shopping or buying. I find it very convenient to use it and it has no interest at all compared to credit card. On the other hand i also used debit card or atm which is same as cash but i only use it when i want to use the remaining balance that i can't withdraw or i used it only on groceries when i don't want to get hold of cash so i will not be tempted to buy things around that is not needed.

I would prefer to pay using cash rather than credit card because if I use my cash, I would know how much I still have money left that way I can budget it. But I would not totally discourage use of credit card. Some credit card companies offer special promos when you use their cards, like collecting points and exchanging them for a specific item. As long as you know how to be responsible, then you won't be over your limit!

Well technology has reached beyond our expectations now we don't have to carry bundle of money along with us for shopping. Even a credit card or debit card will do. Every other person is using credit cards or debit cards for major shopping. In future It might happen no one will carry real money Hope this doesn't happen Bye

I wanted to buy via cash because times are there when in other stores they are not practicing such transactions like via credit card. Further, if i'll be using my credit card and got lost i will not have something to use especially in emergency cases not unless i have cash on hand. :)

I prefer to bring cash over credit cards. Cash is acceptable everywhere, credit cards are not. Transport vehicles accept cash, although there are very rare exemption to it. However, eventhough I prefer cash, but I always bring with me my credit cards. This is only for emergency situation when I run out of cash and there are still necessary thigs to be bought.

Since I have availed of credit cards I use them for my major purchases. Its convenient you dont have to bring a lot bills with you every so often which sometimes prompts you to spend money. With credit cards though you really have to be cautious on the use of the credit as a purchasing tool. You have to bear in mind that it is still credit which means that it is not really your money at the time of purchase and that you have to pay for it in due time. Another thing also if you can pay for the bills even before they become due much better. You dont have to incur a lot of interest on the use of the facility. I also keep in mind that using credit facilities will generally help you especially if you spend it in other income-generating endeavors. But management of it takes a lot of attention for you not to incur a lot of debts through mismanagement of credit cards.

I carry both with me. I like having cash for the small stuff. However, I also like using my PayPal credit card for bigger purchases. I leave my bank card primarily to pay for the necessities like bills.

I bring only few cash and use my debit or atm cards most of the time. Its safer in case my wallet gets lost or stolen. Only a small amount of money will be gone.

Well here in the UK almost every shop I know of will accept a debit card or credit card as payment. But I think it is more sensible to try and pay with cash sometimes as you get a real sense of how much you have actually spent. With a card, you could spend all day and not realise you have spent too much until you get your statement at the end of the month On the other hand though, carrying too much cash isn't safe because it could get lost whereas if a card got lost you could just call up the bank and have it cancelled straightaway.

Of course, I want as much as possible to carry cash than cards..because if I carry cards, I tend not to control my budget...will not think and just swipe, but with cash, I can really count the cost and think twice before I buyu something. The importance of buying using cash is not only spending wisely but aslo avoiding a lot of debts! (^_^)

Majority of the time, I bring cash with me. In preference, I like to use cash. When using a credit card, the merchants usually charge higher price due to the comission or something. Now, there are alternatives like debit card that the merchants don't charge more than the price of the goods. In that case, I prefer to use my debit card.

Use cash on day to day transaction, used credit card only for online purchase, which happens about once a year. I'm afraid when using credit card becomes a habit, budgeting is impossible. I mean, if the amount you see in your bank account is not your current balance, then it is likely to overspend. I rather take out the money at regular interval, and the money reflected in the bank account after withdrawal, is the actual amount of money I possess.
