My neighbor's Chihuahua is nosy! LOL!

My upstairs neihbor has a little Chihuahua named Charlie. She is the cutest little thing but boy is she nosy! Every time that we come and go little Charlie is there standing guard!
Here is a picture of her on the landing above our condo. She is cute and she thinks she is guarding her place. Sometimes she will growl from up there at me and I just laugh and tell her she is a little cutie! I make little kissy noises to her and then she shuts up and then just watches everything that I am doing.
It is so funny the way that little dogs like Chihuahuas act so ferocious and then they are these little tiny things. It is like the "short man syndrome". Basically, they are tiny so they have an attitude!
Anyways, I wanted to share this photo of Charlie and my story about her. She is awfully cute. I just love the way she peers down from all the way up there!

Have to go loo at pic. but all small dogs seem to bark alot.
But then my neighbor has a bigger dog than that that barks the whole time it is outside used to get our dogs to barking.
but now I guess they tune him out like I do and he aint cute lol

That is one cute dog! I have a miniature dauschaund and he is the same way. He will bark and growl when people come to the house and he will bark at other dogs and I think it is funny as he thinks he is so big and bad and yet he would be one bite for some of the dogs here. I do believe that they have an attitude because they are so small.

Oh how cute! I used to have a dachsund mix dog growing up. I know that dachsunds love to bark all the time. I can just picture your little one. And then to top it off he is a miniature dachsund so I am sure the small dog syndrome comes into play all the time!

Chihuahua's are very vocal aren't they? I don't guess I have ever met a chihuahua that did not shake and bark. I think it is cute when people with small dogs like that name them "spike" or "killer" something big and macho like that. Also need a Beware of Dog sign posted around there. hahaha Oh and please don't tell Charlie that he is small.

What a little sweetheart! My own dogs have that "big dog syndrome" and would gladly take on any dog outweighing them by 100 pounds! Little dog, big heart! If I were not in my mid 50's I would have a Chihuahua after my two dogs go to heaven but no more dogs for me. I knew a person once who pronounced it "Cha-hoo-a-hoo-a"!

I have a Boston Terrier and a Rat Terrier, Gus and Cookie. I've included a picture of my adorable furbabies being couch potatoes!
No more dogs because these two will probably be around another 8-10 years. I'm 54 now. If I get another dog or dogs when I'm 63-64 I'll probably die before they will. It's not fair to the poor animal to lose his or her human. Although I might become a foster "parent" for dogs in need, I don't know.

Charlie is ADORABLE!!!
I have two Maltese gals. They're normally slightly larger than Chihuahuas, but not by much. My littlest gal weighs only 5 pounds.
You are so very correct about these little dogs and the "Short Man Syndrome"!!! They seem to have no fear at all. My girls will bark their heads off, until they get to know you, then they're little cuddlemongers.
I think it's hysterical to watch my little girls bravely (and loudly) protecting us from the big, bad geese around here. Even my CAT weighs more than my two dogs put together! LOL

Oh I know! I don't have a chihuahua - I just enjoy my neighbor's chihuahua. I have a cat and I will guarantee you that he could probably eat Charlie if he felt like it!
My cat is both longer and heavier than little old Charlie! Poor Charlie!

charlie is so cute... i know that chihuahuas can bark really loud as i had heard their barking before... i used to have a Pomeranian in the past and she behaves like charlie as well... she barks whenever she hears any of us coming home and she stands at the top of the stairs to welcome us... she is so cute... thanks for sharing charlie's picture with us... take care and happy mylotting to you too...

I thought she was also the one in the picture next to your discussion. That chihuahua is so cute! I wish I can have one too. I also notice that chihuahuas are very ferocious. They will bark at you and sometimes they look like they will bite you. They have no idea how tiny they are!

What a cute little dog! I used to have a chihuahua when I was little. I just think that is adorable the way she is hanging out like that. You are lucky to have a guard dog like that where you live!
