Is it good for your skin to leave make up on?

I don't wear makeup, never really liked it, and never really learned the proper ways of putting it on. I know that when I did wear makeup there were times when I wouldn't take it off. My skin didn't really get damaged because of it, I'm sure a pimple or two came up because of it, but never in the area that I put the makeup on in. Well, maybe at the side of my nose when I did blush, but that's it.
So do you keep yours on for more then is recommended? Has your skin suffered because of it?
Do you think makeup makes a person beautiful?

I dont wear foundation, so I typically dont hav emuch make-up to take off. I love eyeliner, but I dont wear a whole bunch of it, so it normally comes off on its own through-out the day. I think you are suppossed to take off any make-up that clogs your pores! hmm, do u think that includes eyeshadow?

I wonder if the things that you don't take off still has grease residue. A lot of the make ups now are not powder and feel greasy, hmm. I don't know about eyeshadow but I've wondered that myself, although that's not that hard to take off, lol, especially if you've already been sweating. Like I said though, I don't wear makeup so I don't know that much about it.

I think lots of foundation (powder and liquid) has begun to use more natural products in th epast few years, therefore it might not be as bad to leave on as it was in the past. I would still reccommend takign it off though, if nothing else just to feel clean!

I don't wear make-up. When I did wear the stuff it was only eye shadow and mascara. My fair skin wouldn't tolerate having crap caked to it. I do know people who wear foundation and blush and they remove it every night.
As for your question regarding make-up to make someone beautiful....beauty is only skin deep.

I'm not much for make up myself... It's true though, beauty is only skin deep! Well I appreciate the response.

Well, its alright when wanting to wear it through the day and when your out, but you should always remove all makeup on a night before bed, as it can do a damge to your skin, and it makes it harder to remove. Makeup is very easy to remove, and it refreshes your skin and lets it breathe when you've removed it so its very important to take it off with some makeup wipes or something. I always wash after wearing makeup, and my skin hasn't suffered because i wash after using makeup, so its all good for me. I personally think people CAN be naturally beautiful, but makeup is a bonus aswell :)

There are a lot of skin cleaners out there, and different types of skin so I think it's still possible to not get everything off your skin, especially if your skin type is different then the product type your using to cleanse with. Of course, I'm not just saying you, in fact, I'm not saying you at all... lol "general you" not "you you"!
I appreciate the response!
