Yesterday I was thinking about how about I cook for somebody to be their personal chef to earn some money. Because people like Chinese food a lot around here and I can make very good Chinese food, so I think it would be a good way to earn money if:
I was thinking about stick an advertisement in some town grocery store, then they can order food and come pick up OR they can hire me to be their personal chef. It sounds like a perfect idea to me, because then I can earn money, I can do what I like(cooking), I can have flexible working time - PERFECT!
Unfortunately, I don't know if it is feasible due to lots of stupid things that costs me money to apply...

I think its a great idea, go for it. People like to eat good food and working people just don't have the time or the energy to do the cooking. I think once you get a few jobs and the people likeyour food, you can ask them to spread the word around to their friends. You can get jobs word of mouth. Good luck, some good chinese food sounds wonderful, I love it.

Hi mermaidivy
Thats a very good idea you have chosen. If you cook delicious food, then any one hotel can hire you.I think firstly you should have to apply for this job to hotels who are searching cooking personnel. There are many online job site on the net like monstar.com. Please apply there for this job. If any hotel need cooking stuff, then the monster will contact with you by phone and they will inform you about the vacancy. If you are unable to get job in hotels, then you can try for personal chef. After all this is my opinion for you.Because i think you can earn more at hotel instead of personal chef.
Thank you..

I think it's a great idea and you should go for it! I believe that Martha Stewart began her career as a caterer working out of her home - who knows you may be the next Martha!
