I have discovered quite a number of Christian New Wave bands. But does anyone know if there are any Christian Dark Wave bands?

My music vocab is not much. By dark wave do you mean sorta gothic sounding? If that is what you mean I would suggest Barlow Girl. Hope that helps.

It doesn't sound like something that, as a Christian, I would not want much to do with. For Christianity is centred around a Man who has proclaimed Himself to be the Light of the World. Light and darkness simply do not mix.

Im a christian too!! I was not meaning gothic in a non-God way so chill.I was just wanting to know what the poster meant as Dark wave. Dark wave made me think of hard rock, with heavy sounding bass and guitars or electric guitars. To me when i heard music like that it makes me think of the word gothic. Barlow Girl if you Don't know is a Christian girl band. There music has heavy guitar and bass.

Yes, it's gothic sounding. I know Barlow Girl and they are not dark wave, although I do enjoy their music. :-) Thanks for the suggestion.

Missmfa. It is true what they say... Great minds do think alike. I am too a Christian. I am also many other things like a metal head, an artist, martial artist, writer, goth when I want to be, and so much more. Life is more than the labels we choose to supply it with. Much of the art, music, literature, film, and history that interests for some reason or another seems to confront the things that most people would turn away and run from. Most subjects or events that would terrify people just make me laugh. I know have a twisted sense of humor but it stems from my belief in the savior Jesus Christ. You and I will not die a moment sooner than the father has planned for us. So what is there to be afraid of?
