ok what would you do? hubby has worked for this company in a corp store many years. we moved and it is a francise they hired him and promissed him a certain pay. he worked and did more then he had to cause well he always does. he went from management at the corp to just reg employee at the francise no big deal he was glad not to be in management anymore. granted the owner offered it after one day and he told him no thank you. but when he got his check his hourly was alot lower then what was agreed on ok wait back up. the first check was right. then 2nd he got a pay cut and he didnt get his bonus when he asked they told him he was in training hahahaha. he wasnt in training he was in the store alone who was training him and why were they trying to make him area manager lol the day after he worked once. so we thought that the next check would have it all fixed nope it was worse min wage and no bonus and he made his bonuses. he quit. what would you do though?

I would think that if they had an agreed upong wage, the company legally has to pay that wage. I would take it up with the person in charge and keep going up the ladder until it is taken care of. If all else fails, this sounds like grounds for a lawsuit to me. Check with an attorney to see where you stand with this, many will give you a free consult and it won't cost you a penny.

Does your husband have anything at all in writing regarding the changes? The fact that he has quit already makes it difficult to do anything, but he could try contacting the company's headquarters, his former supervisors and so forth they might be willing to pay him the difference and even give him his job back.

he only left corp store to francise cause we moved to new state. the owner use to be a boss of his when he was at corp and before he became an owner that is the only reason hubby was willing to go to the francise cause him and the owner are good friends. well he is out of town and cant be reached for a few weeks but hubby doesnt want to deal with a battle every week. they dont put anything in writting but we have a check showing one wage for the first week and then the pay dropped after that week lol.

The question now is what does he want to do about the rest of the money.
