It's usually my computer games or my books that keep me up at night. I tell myself one more game or one more chapter and next thing I know its a few hours later! Sometimes I just can't put down that good book or unwind from my daytime activities. I'm with you on the insomnia thing.

Hi Soteira, I hope I don't get use sleeping out late, or don't sleep more. Maybe I am getting use to it, but work is work for me, it's adding knowledge. My fiancee loves to play games in the internet, it's fun for both of us and relaxes our minds. But once I start doing my research she gets sleepy. Anyway have a nice day to you! Keep on smiling!

Insomnia keeps me up at night. I can lay in bed for hours before falling asleep. There are nights I cry because I have to get up in a couple of hours and haven't been asleep yet, and all I want to do is sleep, but can't. I hate it.

My schedule causes me to stay up late. I have a list of things i feel I must do everyday, including those things that I absolutely have to do. I cannot seem to fall asleep at night unless I do at the very least the most important things on my list. Sometimes, I end up staying up well past midnight to get things done, other nights, I get to bed earlier. The nights that really bother me are the ones that I get things done and still cannot sleep because I am thinking about the next day or two!

Same thing here. I really have to research all night sometimes and I am already getting use to it. I just need it with my work. If only I can sleep and do my work earlier, but do arrive home at 8 p.m. so for sure it will take me time to research and browse. Anyway have a nice day to you!

Alright...if I play my game on the computer, I'll stay up longer. Same with the book! I'd want to know how it ends. hahahaha. I just watch what I've recorded that's serious or boring and after that 30-60mins (minus commercials), then I'd get really tired and go to bed.

My boyfriend makees me stay up at night. I work from eight to five everyday then go to the gym. Then he works from five to eleven or twelve every night so when we hang out on weekdays we stay up very late...the only problem is I have to get up again early and he does not ha.

Well same with me, but she does wake me up, sometimes she sleeps early while doing my research work. But usually she plays games with me she loves playing games even the whole night. But if I am doing my paper works she rather sleep and rest. Have a nice day to you!

I seldom stay up late at night. I sleep early because its me who let my baby sleep. I instead wake up early and usually I wake up at three in the morning. I just open my computer if I feel like doing so or just stay in bed closing my eyes.

Hi there n30wing,
My work requires a shifting schedule. But for the past 3 months, I'm in the morning shift and it's a good thing because I get to stay with my twin daughters while they are sleeping. But even so, I still stay up late at night. For Mondays, it's because of the reports that need to be submitted by Tuesday morning. For the rest of the week, usually it's uploading videos. Lately though, I stay late when I hear my daughters coughing. I'm always alert when their health is at risk.

Maybe if I have a child I will also stay up late by watching at her/him, even my wife is there to take care of the children. We don't have a baby still but we have a baby dog name Bobsy. She make it sure Bobsy will be inside the room before we enter our room. But for me I love playing games with my fiancee. I love the way she laugh when she wins. But usually I really stay up late my friend for reason of doing research work and browsing at my computer. Your lucky you have shiftings with your work. Anyway have to go! Nothing keeps me awake at nights. I am already half asleep at dinner time and just wait when I can get into my bed. Probably because I do not have the tensions of the world as yet. I would not want to get insomnia.

Most of the time, it's because I'm watching television. I'm a TV addict and catch myself staying up late at night glued to the boobtube. Also, if I'm swamped with work, I tend to extend my work til the wee hours of the day. When I get hold of my PSP, I sometimes tend to not notice time as well.

Hi Bupler you said it right time consuming, but even though I think it's just getting use to it. What do you do when your kind a sleepy and need to be a awake? the reason i stay late at night because all of my friends are night shift and that was the time that i can talk to them by means of chatting. Another on is to research and read blogs and forums and lastly watched movies.

Well I can't say anything when you have really friends at home sometimes you don't sleep a lot of things to discuss. But for me it's my work, doing research works and browsing at my computer that let me stay really at night and get use to it. Anyway have a nice day to you!

I have a hard time sleeping due to the fact that I can not slow my thoughts down enough to rest I hate it!I love to sleep but have such a hard time. I am seeking medical advice for this!

I'm working as a Web Researcher for a US company and the time zone difference is 12 hours. Our 9 in the evening in our country is only 9am in my employer's location. So most of the time I am awake until 1-2am. Another reason for me staying up late is when my husband travels out of the country, most of the country he's been have a different timezone (India, Korea, US and now Congo). We talk via chat when he is on a business trip so I also stay up late to wait for him.

That is very sweet! You make me recall when I was that far from her, I chat with her early mornings. Anyway doing research work is a tough one. For me I need it for my job. Reading books, and video games, sometimes, it is just that I can not sleep. Sometimes it is when I have to drive. This is all very situational.
