Don't you wish all TV was comercial free?

You know, it's interesting you bring this up. CU did a study on commercials and television enjoyment, and found that breaking up television programs with commercial breaks actually enhances enjoyment. Apparently interest decreases over an extended period of time, and while people may not notice it, their interest and enjoyment slowly fades while watching an hour or half hour television program. Viewers adapt to the show, and enjoyment peaks in the first few minutes. By breaking it up with commercials, that initial enjoyment is recaptured after the commercial break. They showed a bunch of people half hour and hour shows, and monitored them. The people who watched shows with commercials disliked the commercials, but enjoyed the program itself better than the people who watched the same program without commercials! So annoying as they are, they actually (supposedly) help us enjoy TV! (But I hate commercials, and always change the station when they come on.)

I myself enjoy some of the commercial's plus it gives me the time to go to the potty or grab a snake if I want to lol lol

I get sort of frustrated with commercials also. I do sometimes like the commercial breaks if I need to go to the bathroom, or if I want to get something to drink though. What really upsets me is when the show or movie that is on tv gets to a really exciting part, and then they decide to go to a commercial break right at that moment, so then you don't know what happens! That always drives me nuts. Oh well!

Definately wish television was commercial free but they have to have someone pay for the television shows. I usually block out commercials when they come on but once in awhile I watch a commercial if it has something that is appealing.

yes most of us do wish that but if there is no commercial then there will be no income of television means there is no television

I don't mind commercials in everyday television. I do not like them during a movie though. I would like to see movies broadcast on television without any commercials at all, and I don't mean on the movie channels either.

Wow I just learn alot obout thing's from your responce's already for me I watch my tv on the internet I mean no interruption,s my fav is tv-links.com has alot on it and it's preety say your busy but your fav show on well the next day it's on there like king's last nite there today go there and watch TV unenterupted and if you have to take a PEE breack then hit the PAUSE button enjoy...
