I basically a poor guy in a poor country we have only 1 Five star hotel in our country that is "Sheraton Karachi". Luckily i got a chance to stay in that hotel for 2 nights about 4 days ago. I find it like a heaven but the thing have annoyed me soo much is the rates of drinks and eating tings.rates was soo high like a normal persons 1 month salary for one lunch/dinner. I think service charges could be high coz they offer you heavenly peace and relaxation but drinks and eating should be normal costs.
What is your experience have yo ever visited a 5 Star hotel or stayed in for some days, when and where do you got this chance. Plz share your thoughts.

yes |I did a few times, but I am not much of a traveller though, the only thing I used was the swimiming pool and the sauna. Most of the time I just stayed in motels.

I have visited certain 5 star hotels and there were different functions and I totally love it so much. It is a different kind of experience and I love all the food and desserts. But I've yet to stay in a 5 star hotel in my own country. That would be something cool.

Hello rockydam83! I do have stayed a night in a five star hotel and that's the time when my aunt from canada was here for a vacation. She stayed at a five star hotel so we have to stay there too. It's a good thing and I was very happy because I was able to sleep in that kind of place not at my expense..lol

I most for the time check in a 4-5 star hotel or resort whenever I travel. Don't get me wrong, I am not rich. I just save money for such vacations. I find it worth all the amount paid because of the cozy and luxurious room, the bathtub, the food and all the other amenities that I do not experience every day. There are also Sheraton Hotels in our country but most of the time I stay at Shangri-La Hotels and Resort and the Holiday Inn. You are right, the food are very expensive especially those at the mini-bar (refrigerator). I only take advantage of the free buffet breakfast and eat lunch and dinner elsewhere. I also bring in food from the grocery instead of eating those at the mini bar which cost a lot more expensive.
