Whats the most important thing you do before leaving your house?

Hi!I kick start my day with a cuppa tea with honey and after the routine activities.I keep one and a half hour for myself in the morning.I get up early so that no one disturbs me i.e at 4.30 am.I do Yoga,breathing exercises thenprayer.Then I do meditation.After that starts the hectic day.Preparing breakfast and lunch boxes for everyone.And then off to work!

Before leaving our condo, i always make sure to unplug all the appliances, turn off the lights, feed my pet, etc.. if i don't then i'd go insane.. you know, i've inherited the "craziness" from my mom.. i have this habit of re-checking whether i have unplug the appliances over and over again.. sometimes, i do the counting too.. for example, i'd check the gas burner and count 1, 2, 3.. 1, 2, 3..until i get satisfied or made sure that it's already been unplugged.. yay! terrible! LOL!!!!

Hey there! I always make sure that everything is in place in our house. I turn off the appliances. Make sure the gas tank is properly close. Those are SOPs for all of us. Now the most important thing I do before leaving the house is grooming my self. I always make sure that I look presentable. My hair is properly fixed, my clothes are neat, and brushed my teeth. Before leaving the house I will check whether I have taken money with me. Also, check whether the gas connection is switched off. I won't check for the light and fans. I felt that I should do that after going through the responses to this discussion. Thank you. Happy mylotting.

me, i check my bag if i have my wallet...lol it is hard to leave the house without money on your pocket. next is, check my face...if my nose has something or my eyes have stars...hahahahha.... i am not the last person to go out of the house so i can't check the lights and all.

Probably the most important thing is to make sure appliances and lights and such are turned off. A friend lives nearby and I have a key to her place and a couple times she has rushed out and asked me to go over and turn off her coffee pot.
