I read more than I watch tv. But I am online more than I read LOL. I am always doing research looking for a new author to read or a new book from a favorite author. I love reading but there are times when I had enough reading and need break know what I mean.

It's reading for me hands down. I love to read, plus I don't own a TV. I'd prefer to read. I read almost all the time. I finished between 12-18 books a month. As for TV, I gave up owning a television almost three years ago, and never regretted the decision. Now, I watch my tV shows through DVD, so I don't waste my time channell surfing. It works quite well for me, this arrangement.

Normally, I would prefer watching TV because I want to follow my favorite dramas. If I am free and feel relax, I will read books. If I started reading books, normally, I cannot stop reading.

Reading. I have not watched TV for many years. I used to watch a show and then find the book to read. Somehow love reading more, because books can tell me what's the hero/heroine thinking. Books put in beautifully the message that the author wants to convey. But the quality of the same story in TV is diluted, because the director changes the story to suit the mood of the viewers.

I personnally prefer reading. The best benefit you can get by reading is enhancing your comprehension and analytical skills. By just watching TV, everything is fed visually. Our brains are not trained, or minimally, to process and analyze on whatever we see on the idiot box. With learning, it trains to develop your imaginative skills. It allows you to process every thought presented on the reading material. I also believe that some books are more reliable than what has been reflected in the TV because of this media exaggeration/sensationalization. If yuo want to develop your comprehension and thinking process, it should be a habit to read quality materials. Thanks, I hope I have contributed.
