Being Friends With Your Ex's?

Is it a good idea to stay friends with your ex? I have stayed friends with my ex's but it doesnt go beyond friends and i think my boyfriend gets bother that i talk to them and i understand how he feels.but i dont see nothing bad by talking to them cuz all we do is talk and thats all. what do you guys think?
