Are you a greedy person or already satisfied with what you have right now?

I understand that majority of us never satisfied with what we have so far. We always pursuing more and more. Money, and fancy life, are the biggest drivers for our greediness. We just want more and more. Sometimes, too greedy for something might end up nothing eventually. For instance, I knew someone who had stocks options from his work. He should withdraw his money while the stock market was still okay. He just want to wait for higher price to sell. Eventually, he end up with nothing in the recent recession. It taught us, learn to satisfy with what you have. Don't you agree?
