2 times speed of VOA news,can you hear clearly?

A professional Chinese translator who now works for the leader os our country told us how he studied English and practice his listening comprehension in the past,he said he tried many materials and at last he could totally understand the VOA news even if he speed it up as 2.5times,I just tried it with KMPlayer and I couldn't get anything out of the broadcast.seems it's impossible to me,Don't know if you could hear the news clearly or not,I know there are many people here on mylot use Eglish as native language or second language,don't know if you tried the test?share with me and thanks

I never tried this! This is my first time to learn that we can speed up the VOA news for practising our listening comprehension. I will try it later. Thank you for providing this information!

you are welcome,to me I guess it's impossible to hear clearly if we speed up more than 2 times of the normal speed
