I never thought I would actually do it...but I did. I was so scared and I still cant believe it. I really like it but im kind of nervous of showing it to my mom. Although I am married with kids, my mom does not approve of them and I dont know how to tell her.

Wow, GORGEOUS tattoo! I was seriously considering getting cherry blossoms on my back about a year ago or so, but I hadn't gotten around to it. Absolutely gorgeous though! It took me forever to tell my mom (who also is totally unapproving of tattoos/piercings) that I got my monroe pierced (I weared retainers so as to hide it), so I totally know what you mean. Eventually, you'll just have to tell her, though, and hope that she takes it OK. And if not, keep in mind, it is your body and your money - and you don't necessarily need the approval of your parents in order to do something (as you're an adult, and capable of making your own decisions). So, remember to point that out if she gets super upset at you. . Good luck though!

Well soon or later your mom is going to find out unless if you where a sweater everytime you see her but that might get uncomfortible during the summer lol. So pretty much you have to tell her. Better you tell her then her finding out which I bet anything she would be more mad at that.

Yeah I know my tattoo is actually on my leg which it wouldnt be that hard to hide since I hardly ever were shorts ar dresses. I guess its the fact that I would be keeping something from her that makes my feel bad.

After it was just a little sore nothing to complain about it was during. But it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. The person who did it has a very light hand and was very careful he made sure I was comfortable.

That's beautiful. I've a design for my next one put together that is a Geisha standing in front of a Cherry Blossom tree. I love the way yours was done, very nice. I have three tattoos so far and yep, my mom too thinks a school teacher and mother shouldn't have them. That's ok though, I am my own person. Namaste-Anora

That sounds pretty nice if you get it, you must post it. I had thought about doing a butterfly near it but as he was doing it i didnt like that idea anymore. Some people have told my a humming bird would look nice but I like it this way. Nice and simple.

Hi nery, I really like the tattoo you have. Don't be surprised if you find yourself getting another one someday . I have 3 now and I am going to get a forth one soon. I know how you feel about not wanting to tell your mother. It's funny how Mother's have this power where they can make us feel like we are still 10 years old , no matter how old we are .
