Awesome Heart of Paul "Now I want you to know brethren that my circumstances have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel." Philippians 1:2 Paul, the beloved apostle I may say has an awesome heart for God. He is always thankful for whatever circumstances befall him whether good or bad. He never quetioned his sufferings. He considered his imprisonment a blessing for it helped him in advancing the cause of Christ. Through his imprisonment , he had seen the purpose of God for his life. He considered the possibility that his imprisonment might lead to his death and still welcome this with great joy and looked at death as a better alternative for this means being in the presence of Christ. Paul is a perfect model of a true spirit-filled christian, A christian who has gone beyond head knowledge, a christian with deep revelation knowledge of christ. His heart is completely possessed by Christ. Paul's life isa living testimony of the power of God and the extent of what he can do to a repentant sinner. What can you say about this ?

I agree with you. I love the prayers of Paul in the New Testament. He was a highly educated man in the things of the Old Testament. He was a very enthusiastic man. A man that worked hard at what he believed. This was all before God met him on the road to Damascus. After his conversion to Christianity, he brought us a deep understanding of the workings of the Holy Spirit, Jesus, God the Father, unity, pressing forward, spiritual warfare, etc. I love to read the prayers in Ephesians and pray them over myself and my family.
