I got my lazy behind up from this computer and went exercise walking today. I hope I have the motivation to keep it up. I really need too, my behind is spreading. Since I am not working, I am not active and all my food is settling in my behind (butt). I have a lot of junk-in-my-trunk. Today was a nice day, the sun was shinning, and it was just wonderful, a big change from the last 2 or 3 days it rained a lot. Have you started on any exercise lately? Or any kind of activity? Or going to start any kind of exercise?

I started the same thing today! I took a nice, 3 mile run around a lake next to my job, after work. It was definitely a great change from my usual laziness, and I found out the hard way that I'm not in as good of shape as I used to be. . But, it was definitely BEAUTIFUL outside today, and I love taking advantage of it and exercising at the same time. Kudos to us!

Reading this reminds me that i need a good walk today so i can think of something while doing the walk and of course to get myself some exercise. I've been depressed lately and i think i need to do some walks to make myself cool down and feel ok but i probably do it later this afternoon when its not that very sunny anymore. Its good also that you did the walking.

I'm annoyed with myself because of my physical limitations. I had a steroid epidural injection Monday, and I'll have another one this coming Monday, and the following Monday. They don't want me to do anything really at all. I like walking outside, but it is getting humid here, and I don't do well in humidity. But I do have an old exercise bike in my apartment, and when my back is better I plan to crank up the air conditioner and bike bike bike!

It's definitely good to get out there and exercise although I'm not that keen on walking. I love cycling instead and now the weather has started warming up I try and get out there on the bike. I just love the fresh air and I get a great sense of freedom too. I love my lot and try to spend a lot of time here but I always think that it's good to remove myself from the computer and do something else. I also have several exercise machines in my flat, I guess I have a weakness for those shopping channels like Best Direct. Anyway, I tend to exercise on those about three times per week. As far as I'm aware it's going to be another sunny day today so I may get out once again on the bike, that's after I have had my dentist appointment. Andrew

I'm hoping to get out and walk more now that the weather is getting nicer! I have been slacking on exercise with my busy schedule lately, but I deserve it, I should be taking more time for myself and for exercising. My body needs it! I definitely will be going for a walk after work tomorrow. I haven recently started walking with 2lb weights in each hand. I bought really nice Reebok weights at target that actually have handles on them, makes it really nice for carrying while you walk!

My big excercise in the summer is going to the pool. I am always going there and paddling around. I am going to start my regular excercises again because this sitting at the computer does make it hard to keep a girlish figure, besides all of the other health risks.

I am needing to start an exercise regimen also. I just moved to a new place and am trying to get use to my new and way of doing things. I am very excited about starting new things. I actually bought a pair of skates last year and will be getting them out of storage at the end of this month. I have been dreaming about skating again for years.

I try to take a daily walk and stretch every morning although I don't quite manage to do it all the time.

i walked today for the first time in a long time and boy did i feel it. i have gained alot of weight this winter and i am so out of shape. i wanted to turn around and go back home after only a few minutes because my back and legs hurt but i pushed it and walked for 30 minutes at a normal pace. i want to keep it up too but i know that i will not walk in the summer months when it is really hot out as i do not do well in the heat. my doctor told me to get a treadmill but we cannot afford one.

I am thinking of getting into one of three classes, Chevee... yoga, dance or volleyball. I played volleyball from grade school until I graduated high school so I want to get in that court again and enjoy what I used to enjoy quite a LOT. Same with dancing, although I have never been in a dance class. Yoga is something new to me. But walking and/or hiking is a good one as well. It also lets you breathe that "fresh" air instead of just sitting inside all the time.

Actually, for the first time in a looong time, I got on the treadmill today. What I found out didn't shock me, I am so out of shape it's not even funny. I need to really exercise every day. Most of the time after work, i just want to sit around and relax. But today, I too, got off my ever spreading rear and got moving. I'm looking forward to the weather getting nicer and getting outside a bit. I need to keep doing this on a regular basis.

I started walking with a friend this weekend. We walked over a mile the first time, I was hurting. I'm way out of condition, but it was a beautiful day, and I felt great walking. Then the next day I went walking for 20 minutes by myself, it is more fun when going with someone cause you don't realize how far you have walked, and it goes much faster and is alot more fun. I got a bit of shin splints, which got worse after the second walk. I didn't walk yesterday, cause they hurt to much, but went walking with my friend again today, it was beautiful out.

I used to go for cycling before. Now a days I am getting very less exercise. I am thinking about restarting cycling. I also think that walking is a very good exercise. There is a place called museum in our place where lots of people comes for walking in the morning as well as evening. I think I should start walking and walking i a very good exercise.

Hi Chevee. Good going girl. I've done some exercise on my exercise bike and treadmill but lately I haven't been feeling good so quit doing it. I need to get back at it but I just don't have the energy lately. Keep it up.

been a gymmer for most of my life. i need to get my highs by running every other day, not to mention the steam-sauna routine after that. i used to also enjoy aerobics, but have not been attending the studio classes for some time now. once i fall out of the habit, i know it can get hard to restart.. so i try n go the gym atleast 3 times a week even when i'm busiest.
