I make my potato soup by taking my cutup peeled potatoes and cooking them in milk. I cut up some onions and put them in their. I put some butter in it. Then I salt and pepper it. I let it cook anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. It is good. Some people add bacon and chives. It just depends on what you like. I love potato soup!

I was craving it last night. It's something I make that well. A lot of people put garlic, cheese, sour cream, bacon, and chives in it. I like mine plain with onions and butter cooked in milk. It comes out creamy and so good. Especially on a cold day. How much potatoes you use depends on how much you make. I make mine with 6 to 8 potatoes because I also cook for my family. I hope this explains it better;-)
