I sleep atleast eight hours a day and sometimes more than that. I like to sleep a lot. I had the habit of going to bed late and getting up early, but after marriage it is changed. My husband wants to go to bed early and I have to get up early to cook food and rush to office. So, I am geting 8 hours...but, I would like to extend it to 9 or 10 hours, if somebody can cook food for me.

Very good wish you have to complete your kitchen by some others so that you can sleep more.but cooking to your husband by your own hand makes you feel more satisfied isn't it?Of course why don't you ask your husband to help you in the kitchen so that your work will be shared and completion will get easier right! So that you can sleep at least half an hour if you do like that.Try out and see the change.Hahhha :-) keep smiling dear and happy life with your husband.

I rarely ever get 8 hours of sleep, because I have this crazy pet cat thats very loud and he keeps me up at night meowing and knocking things over hes a indoor cat Iv had him for three years now and hes constantly bothering me while I sleep but I just couldn't bare to part with him, and since Iv had him of only been able to get 3 hours of sleep a night, Iv tryed everything to keep him calm at night, but nothing much works, oh well I will just have to deal with it hes so cute and smart you wouldnt believe how smart he is he turns the lights on when hes upset or trying to get my attention and he dose other things that has amazed people, but he dosent sleep for more then 2 to three hours, and he just keeps meowing at night while I sleep over and over agin and he slides up the wall to get my attention too, my goodness hes the strangest cat Iv ever had.

hmmmmm thats strange to hear. Its not like that if volume is high to keep low,if lights are on to off them but its about a cat and what to do with it you can't tell to stop jumping and meowing as it not a machine and it is an animal. You have to think of it and why don't you make a small room for it and make it habbit of going it inside it nad have a good sleep and try it once and see any change. But you have try hard to make your cat to get habitual but i think it will work dear.Keep smiling and have a nice sleep and happy mylotting dear.

Sleeping 6 to 8 hours is fine as long as your can recuperate the energy lost during the day. Sleep time significantly varies depending upon body chemistry and mental situation at the time of retiring. A sound sleep of 5 to 6 hours is enough to get ready for the next day.

You are absolutely correct dear.Once some days i even won't sleep completely for enough hours. And as usually i gets sleep in office and i will go to waiting room and i will take take rest we can say about half an hour and i will fall into sound sleep of course i will ask my colleague to help me in waking up after half an hour and he will wake me up.And that is fairly enough for that day sometimes and i came to know deep sound sleep for at least half an hour to one hour is really helps to gain new energy lost and we can be active enough to continue our work dear.Keep smiling and happy mylotting.

Hi sweet girl. I always sleep more than 9 hours every day but I still feel very tired. I always go to bed around 1:00 and get up around 10:00 , and have a nap at night about 30 minutes. I don't know why?

It's so hard for me to get as much as 8 hours of sleep a day. If I get 5 to 6 uninterrupted sleep, then that would be heaven! I don't have any sleep disorder, though. I just find it hard to sleep at night right away. Probably because I always get tempter to watch TV or movies, play video games or read good books. There are times when I go out with my friends and party, even though I have to get up early the next day. But I'm trying to minimize it. Also, there are instances when I wake up in the middle of my sleep because of some noise in the neighborhood or the phone's ringing. Then it gets hard for me to go back to sleep again. It's actually becoming dilemma.

I understood dear and just don't get addicted with those stuff like,T.V,movies, playing video games just they are to get relax or just for time pass and they are not your job to get complete daily. So,make yourself engaged to any other useful work like gardening plants, getting updated knowledge from the library or from any books, acquiring new information on mysteries(Pyramids,Mummies,Great Wonders,Bermuda Triangle) etc so that you don't get involved in watching or playing video games. And keep the mobile phone in silent mode so that you can't get disturbed in the middle of your sleep and you will get good and sound sleep dear.Try once keep smiling.

I usually sleep 7 hours a day, from 0:00 to 7:00. I have no idea whether it bad for our health without sleeping for 8 hours a day either. But I often get tired at noon. I used to sleep at noon before. But now I don't have enough time to go home and sleep at noon. What about you do you sleep at noon? Is it bad for your health if we don't sleep at noon?

Hi sweetychandu! Yes 6 to 7 hrs is enough for an adult but some are there who has less sleep or more. And I do not know if I am a normal sleeper. Sometime I sleep 8 hrs and some time 9 to 10 hours. Actually when I in college the sleeping tine is about 6 to 7 hrs but when at home I sleep almost 9 hours a day that includes my sleeping at day times too. Actually I enjoy to sleep at day times for one or two hours immediately after lunch and when get up feel horribly fresh.

I sleep about 6 to 7 hours a night, we need to sleep at least 8 hours to maximize our energy for the next day, if you sleep more then 8 hours your energy decreases, and if you sleep less then 8 hours you wake up badly.

I definitely do try to sleep approximately 8 hours of sleep. However, much like other people, there are nights, when I don't sleep as well, and get 6 hours of sleep, or something like that.

I regularly get 5 to 6 hours of sleep. If i sleep much more than that, or any less, I do not function as well. I don't think 8 hours of sleep is necessary as long as when you do sleep, you are truly resting.
