Sound of Music Oh how I love watching this musical "Sound of Music" whose major lead starrer Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer really performed excellently. Though the film was made during the circa 1960s, it could captivate an audience of younger generations. This is a story about a confused girl named Maria played by Julie Andrews who was in the process of fulfilling the preliminary years of her vocation as a nun. She was later sent by the mother superior to work as a governess for the children of a military officer Captain Von Trapp played by Christopher Plummer who was already a widower. There the story revolves around Maria's sojourn in this household which brought her to a romantic relationship with the father of the children she was looking after. This movie musical was done excellently. The musical selection are just great. The performers were able to deliver their songs beautifully. The musical features great songs such as "Edelweiss", "Climb Every Mountain", "My Favorite Things", and many others. I do highly recommend this musical film which I find very entertaining. What can you say about the Sound of Music ?

I like this movie a lot. My mother absolutely loves it. When I was fifteen years old, I went to Europe as a student ambassador. One ofthe countries I got to visit was Austria. While there we visited some of the locations where The Sound Of Music was filmed. I was really excited about it. I wanted so band to climb the stairs and dance around the fountains and sing, like they did in the movie haha.

Sound of music undoubtedly rocked the audience during 60's. The hippy culture was prevailing during those days and sound of music was a feast to everyone. Later Abba and Boney M tookover SOM.
