trip to thailand, where should i go?

I have been in Thailand twice last year, I have been in Phuket Beach and Bangkok. I would recommend for you to look for accomodations on Expedia.com as that site has a lot of choices to hotels especially its much cheaper to book it through that site as my younger sister used to be a reservations agent of Expedia.com and indeed that their rates are low and great. You should book your trip (hotel accomodations and flight tickets) ahead of time as its more cheaper if you will book 2-3 months before of your preferred travel date. Phuket is much expensive than Koh Samui as its really touristic but both have great beaches. You can bring money which is not more than $1000 as everything there is cheap especially seafood. You can buy cheap items like shirts, wallet (made from sting-ray leather), soap carvings, etc. as souvenirs. You should always try to bargain there as they may offer you a higher price first since you are foreigners and have dollars. Don't forget to bring sunblock lotion as the sun is scorching there and you might get a sunburn. There are a lot of activities to do in the beach like banana boat riding, parasailing, jetskiing, massage and manicure/pedicure while at the beach, boozing at a bar at night, shopping at the bazaars and night markets there.

i never go to thailand, but i heard pattaya and phuket are very nice place!
