Are you a doctor? lawyer? businessman/woman? writer? actor/actress? or any busybody who just wants to live an ordinary life... would you trade your profession and life now to a simpler one? I am a doctor here in the Philippines, and this question always crossed my mind. If living a simple life will suffice to pay the bills and all other expenses you may have, give you enough time for your hobbies and passion, spend quality time with your loved ones, travel to your dream vacation, and join myLot discussions once in a while, would you do it? I am looking for people who can imagine themselves living ordinarily, but comfortably. It may not be as prestigious as where you are now, but, you can do anything you want whenever you want. So, will you trade it? Hope to hear from you guys! Cheers!

Hi Zorlone!Im also a person with profession not a lawyer, businessman, doctor nor celebrity but working with busy life schedule everyday is really my cup of tea, and yet, I still manage my schedule with so much activities that still complete me as an individual. I go to theatre house sometime, gimik with friends, time with my family and etc. I guess, what you need is T I M E, use time wisely, spend time with your family, friends. That is, I still think that its up to you how you manage it, we all know that life is so short so why treasure every moment of it. I guess also, that trading your life now to simple lifestyle maybe not the answer either but knowing your limitations and needs will bring you with much contentment and joy, just love your profession and learn how to deal and live life with passion. What do you think?

That is another way of looking at it, managing time would be part of simplifying life. In order to do all the things you want to happen, time management is a must. On second thought, a simple life doesn't need too much time management! LOL. Everything is within reach and all of the things you want are turned simple. No more desire to watch a movie nor go out with friends at night. Just plain old bonding moments with loved ones, enough to treasure every moment and savor every second of it. Well, that's just what I think. he he he! Cheers!

Even the busiest man in this small world can have a simple living my dear friend, thats my point of view.... You are not Mr. Obama nor Mrs. Arroyo that has a lot of responsibilities hmmmmm. It doesn't also mean that if you are a DOCTOR yourself, you can no longer be simple. (A simple individual with a simple life.) As what you have mentioned above it is US who make our life complicated and its up to you now how you consider yourself with your PROFESSION to connect life simplicity. Cheers!

Change the life I have now to the simpler one? Of course I want to do that. All I want to do is get out from this trouble of life and having better, and less complicated life as myself. LOL. But I think everybody's life is complicated, no matter how I trade it to someone else, I would end up having complicated life again

hello klaudine, Very interesting! But somehow you can smplify all those complications, wouldn't it be better? I think it is us who make our lives complicated, rather than life itself. anyway, that's just my opinion. happy mylotting! btw, more power to your blog! Cheers!
