What is a zip car

I saw many signs on the street show this word zip car. I don't know what is it? Is it a kind of car or indicate some other thing?
Would someone who knows tell me someting about it? Thanks in advance.

Zip Car is a rental car service for those who do not have a car of their own. Primarily located in urban settings, Zip Car is great for those who live in the city and do not have room to keep a car, but occasionally need a car to go on visits outside the city, run errands, get groceries, etc. I have a sister in Chicago and she had to get rid of her car because she didn't have parking available to her, so she uses Zip Car whenever she needs to shop for large items (Ikea, Home Depot, etc) or pick people up from the airport who are coming into town.
