I notice that people are interested in petty things and very seldom discuss things about learning more about life. Is it easier to find fault in others than in finding something good to say about them? Is talking about trolls more engrossing than talking about kindness being done? I am curious. Cheers!!

I have been here for three years. If anyone goes through my discussions and responses he can very well find that I give less importance to the petty things like trolls and concentrate more on human values. We have to get matured and mellow with age.Aren't we?

I know how it is to be thinking of topics which we consider to be worthy of discussion and I appreciate other people's opinions. Everyone is entitled to one. Cheers!!

I noticed that too. I have responded and started discussions on what I felt were fairly important topics - global warming, do you feel safe where you live, do you actively think about the impact you are making on the earth, do you recycle, etc and got 7 responses at the most. I see that topics like trolls (I don't even know what these are?), and other mundane topics get many responses. I don't find fault in others because of this, I just only respond to the topics that interest me. I would like to know if there are little "communities" of like minded people such as ourselves on MyLot? If there is, and there isn't one already concerning the topics that I mentioned above, I would like to start one. Does anyone know how?

I like to think about things that affect my life in a big way and it might seem too out of fetch to think that corporate methods are harming the ecology but in the long run we do see ill effects. I would like to think that I am doing something about the environment in an active way. Thanks for the response. cheers!!

Thank you very much for the best response! I have finally come to the conclusion that some people are just fools and will continue to do exactly as they see fit. They don't give a sh*t about anyone but themselves and their greedy attitudes. I am so tired of hearing people say that global warming does not exist and that humankind has not done damage to Earth. They can do whatever they want and there is nothing that I personally can do about it. But... I can live my life in a sustainable way and do no harm to Mother Earth. That is my choice. I will continue to grow my own foods without chemical toxins, recycle, ride my bike, not waste fuels/power, use things up instead of throwing them away. I am lucky that we live in the bush, on 14 acres and can live as we choose.

My boyfriend and I both love talking about "deep things" - things that matter. We usually talk about it when we're alone because we know that some people would find the topic either boring or "over reacting" over a certain issue. For example, talking about killing: would you kill one man to save thousands? And what would that say about a person's virtues? We like to delve deep into our principles in order to know ourselves better. However, we also do like talking about petty things just because we like talking :D Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Sometimes, we need to think deep thoughts and sometimes we just need to think about petty things. It would be quite boring to be doing just one thing. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!!

Good discution! most person talk his friend that he meet some troubles in life,he need his friends help, but he seldom shares some good things to his friends.it doesn't keep balance in his life.giving and gaining are both important to us.
