Hi! I've read the 3 books and really enjoyed reading them. And in my opinion they are just good as Twilight. Actually I can't wait to read the 4th book, but I can't get it yet because it's not available and they said (books store) that they will have it in a month time, so I may have to check the book store every weekend, lol. I am also looking forward to see the next movie.

I'm looking forward to the New Moon movie as well . I'll probably have to go buy a matinee ticket for the following day after the opener, as I am NOT going to go stand in line all day and half the night to get a seat at the first showing along with all the kids lol... Where do you live? Breaking Dawn isn't available? You could probably order it online.

I had absolutely no desire in Twilight when it first came out. My impression was - VAMPIRES?! So not my thing, lol. But my sister (whom isn't really much of a reader or into vampire love either, lol) talked me into reading the first book, Twilight. I was so glad she did!! I really enjoyed it. After the first book, I read the second book. After the second book, the movie came to our dollar theater here in town. So I somehow got my fiancee to go see it with me. lol I really enjoyed the movie but there were a lot of things that I imagined differently in the book. I'm now waiting for the 3rd book to come out in paperback (which is in May) so I can purchase that and read it. It's such a big book that I'd prefer to just wait for the paperback and not have to deal with an even heavier hardcover! Overall though, I'd recommend this book and the movie for all age groups.

Hehe. I didn't even KNOW anything about Twilight when it first came out. I dimly remember my 18 year old daughter having the book in the house at some point - now she claims she doesn't read 'books about vampires' so maybe it was her friend's book, I'm not sure. However, MY sister bought it for me for Christmas, and then she kept messaging me on facebook asking me if I'd started reading yet lol. She also warned me to go buy the rest of the books before I was finished with it, because I would kick myself if I did not have the next book to read. She was right!! I was so grateful that I had taken her advice. My husband also got me the last 2 books for Valentine's Day. I didn't actually see the movie until it was just about gone from the theater. I went to see it alone because by some luck of the draw, there was a showing in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday when my son happened to be home sick from school - but he wasn't sick any more - so I could leave my little one home with him lol. Can't beat 3 bucks, know what I mean? I look at the movie like a companion for the book, there were a few things missing and a few things that were different, but I already had my own sense of Edward, Bella, the town of Forks, the atmopshere, and their relationship, things I would not have if I hadn't read the book first. LOL! I got the hardcovers... I prefer paperbacks myself but for these books I just bit the bullet. I usually buy things on ebay or amazon... second hand. I couldn't wait for these! I won't let anybody borrow them either!

It SHOCKED me actually when I read New Moon. The only reason I was able to keep reading was knowing there were two more books, so the happenings in New Moon were clearly NOT the end.

i haven't read it as i don't have a book, but i have listened to the first few chapters because i have a copy of the twilight audio book and was also able to download an e-book. got a little bored with the audio version, listening to it made me sleepy so i lost interest in the whole book, just settled with the movie (laughs) maybe audio books is not my thing, would always prefer the book version.

You are going to love the rest of the books! (I hope.) New Moon is a bit more depressing than the others but all in all I loved it! the third book Eclipse was very suspenseful and probably the one with the most action. Don't forget about the drama! The fourth one was probably my favorite one of all them, there's a surprise... *zips lips* I hope you find the rest of the books soon!

i've read the series and might read it again shortly. the books were very easy to read i agree, but still very enjoyable. and they do get better the more you get into the story. i loved them, but there is nothing like a good fanasty novel to escape the real world

I read 3 of the 4 books in the series; I skipped New Moon because I couldn't find anywhere/one to borrow it from. lol I really do love it, though. It's so romantically captivating, and addicting!

Excellent books, all of them . I don't want to spoil anything for you so I won't tell you anything about the plot, however, in the last book (Breaking Dawn), I feel a little disconnected from Edward. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not on Stephenie's part but it would be nice to have a return to the closeness you get an aching taste of in Twilight - at least the closeness Edward wants with Bella - but that he prevents himself from having because of the human issue lol. I will say too that Breaking Dawn is a bit more 'adult' in nature, it's no longer situated around high school life of 17 or 18 year olds. I am rereading the series right now, Eclipse at the moment, so when I get back to Breaking Dawn I'm sure I'll catch whatever little parts I missed the first time through. I read the whole book in two days when I read it the first time, I was sick so I just spent the whole day in bed reading lol. I didn't expect Edward and Bella to be so addicting. I hope Stephenie Meyer has another dream since it was the meadow scene in Twilight which was the catalyst for her writing it at all.

I haven't started reading Twilight yet. I have started a different series called the Dark Hunter series, it is a romance series (not a lot of smut) by Sherrilyn Kenyon and I think it is wonderful. There is a lot of action and things that kep readers on the edge wanting more.

I loved them although I gotta say the last one is different. I think the last book is more adult in nature. I also think it may be setting up for a series dealing with the werewolves.

I have read twillight and new moon.Your mood will change a lot when you read from the first one to the second one.you may feel down because ED had to leave Bella, and you sometimes will be in favour of Jacob.Anyway, the book can grab your emotion tight.
