MyLot Policy: Response to messages (copy)

I sent this to MyLot 4 days ago. Do you think it fair to expect a response sooner than that? "Is it your policy not to respond to messages concerning infringements? "It would be helpful, I think, to clarify your policy on response to messages from users in general. Some people, I know, have had communications from you while others have expressed concern (in discussions) that they have heard nothing in response to communications. I think many of your users are a little unsure of the level of Customer Care and it would be useful, perhaps, to make this the subject of an alert. "I can understand that, as the site grows, difficulties in communication arise because staffing levels become (one hopes temporarily) inadequate. I believe that your users deserve to be told of some of the problems of running a site such as this, since you depend very much on them to help you with the policing of it. "With best wishes, &c"

I think if they have an active customer service group we should be getting responces in less than 24 hours. I know the community is growing but I cannot imagines that they get more than 1000 emails a day. Yes, that can be cumbersome for just one person to handle. But i am under the impression that quite a few folks are handling customer service & support. I also sent an email to MyLot 4 days ago and haven't gotten a responce. Due to this and other reasons, I am visiting the siteless frequently.

I really hope that they read your comments, both of you! I tagged this discussion with what I considered were tags that MyLot staff would use if they were looking for feedback (that's one I should add, actually). We have a number of people who post good, sensible topics but they tend to get swamped by the 'When is your birthday?' type of 'discussion'. These are patently against the Guidelines and ought to be reported and deleted!

I completely agree with both of you. MyLot should better screen applicants, I hope that your tags work and they see this. I did send them another message yesterday and I haven't gotten any responce.

Cool Cat with Policy! - Cool Cat with Policy!
I think its a good policy. If you can't obey the policy then you don't have to be on the website. Its supposed to be for families not for just you and your friends to chat. My Mom Works from Home and so can you! ONLY $1.00 in November! Http://www.HomeCareerSeekers.com Http://www.DentalCare4You.com

I obey the guidelines as far as I can. It's the 'policy' of non-communication that annoys me. I am used to better service elsewhere - and I think the troops deserve it!

It must be all these blank screens I keep getting! I have learned how to deal with them, anyway! If you get a blank screen when posting, wait a second or two and then use the dropdown next to the back button to skip back a couple of steps. You generally find that what you posted is there. Is it me, or is there an echo?

So far I like mylots policies I just do not like the fact that you can not edit or delete your own post after you had posted... and if you wanted to delete your own post they could set it up to remove a cent in the account if that is what they are worried about.. Sometimes a person may post something of theirs or a message they may not really want public... and forget about it until it it to late.. I am just glad I was able to change my profile picture, as since I realised my mylot messages are making the search engines.. I want to make sure that nothing is going to turn up in the public search engines that I would not want there. Take care, and I hope you got your questions answered and resolved :) .
